This is a good place to base yourself in the Keys. Approximately halfway between Key Largo to the north and Key West to the south. This accommodation is next door to a restaurant which has some hearty local food on offer. The room was clean, and comfortable. Wifi worked well. Know breakfast is offered, but there is a good place... More

The Blackfin Resort was ideal for our 3-day visit to the Keys. It is affordable, acceptably maintained and offers a feel of the Old Florida that is especially what we enjoy when visiting the Keys. It is also relatively close to many attractions this area offers. Don't miss the sunset views from the marina.

We stayed in the Voyage room.. The beds were extremely comfortable and everything was clean. The man at the front desk, Mark was super polite and helpful. The marina is gorgeous but I wouldn't call their "beach" a beach. The only complaint I have is that the walls seem to be super thin and you can hear everyone outside and... More

I get 'old Florida Keys Charm' but the Black Fin does not have it in my opinion. It was clean and the room was comfortable and spacious that is true but don't know what the dim hallway off the back is...the motel seemed like a place for road workers and middle aged bikers. Other than one lady at the desk,... More

Friendly, clean, reasonably priced, and with big rooms and bathrooms. There was a nice pool, laundry, and a couple grill areas with tables. The sunset views from a nice "beachy" area were great - it didn't have water access, but there were palm trees, loungers, chairs, etc.. and fishing off of the very end. There is a bar/restaurant at the... More

First let me say that the people here are Honest! I left my purse behind and not only did they send it to me overnight, but not a thing was missing! Right down to the last dollar. I was looking for a place to stay that was relaxed and had some water access.... there is no actual beach but water... More

Old Florida style accommodations. About 50 miles from Key West right on US 1. Reasonably priced, clean, a good value. Has a nice little area over looking the water. A great place to watch the sun go down. The beds are pretty bouncy. It has window air conditioners that help with their white noise. No breakfast but a Publix nearby... More

My husband & I stayed here for Valentine's/President's Day weekend and thought the place was very cute and quaint. Beautiful views at the end of the dock. Located close to everything you can want. The restaurant on the premise was very good... Pet friendly with a big lot next door to walk your furry friends. I would definitely recommend!

This place is inexpensive. It is basically a place to sleep. The marina area is nice if you are there to fish and want a place to hangout and grill your catch. I can see this being very attractive to fishermen and people with boats. It is not a "resort". The pool area is small but it was well maintained.... More

This place is a gem. You won't find a better place than here for the value. Heated pool, outdoor grills, beautiful marina, wash/dryer, ice machine. We met 3 separate couples who stay here each year who returned again this year. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Rooms are ceramic tiled and clean. We had no issues or problems and...
