Nice and quiet stay, friendly service and visitors. The room was very comfortable and very clean. Beautiful setting, nice quiet places to sit, eat or cook on the water. Nice central location for visiting the keys. Look forward to staying again.

We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival. Check in was a breeze. The grounds are wonderful and well maintained. The room was spacious. The only in room issue is one of the two beds was very noisy/creaky. The pool area is very tranquil. The beach area is a great place to watch a beautiful sunset. Lots of amenities nearby. The only... Perfect location and wonderful view for sunset :). Loved it. The owner is really nice and helped us for our activites. The room is really nice and the matress is really good. The hamac under the plamtrees next to the ocean is just a piece od heaven

Perhaps the Blackfin was better a few years ago but it's a run-down dump now. We had adjacent rooms with out in-laws. Both were very, very dirty. All four of us were disgusted. Very noisy A/C too boot. My wife wanted to go elsewhere but we booked with booking.com and a refund was not possible. Perhaps some of the Blackfin... More

Not bad for a last minute weekend. Very nice management, pet friendly. Room was large enough but I would have liked a bigger bathroom. The grounds were nicely kept and lushly planted. All in all our stay was just fine and we plan to return another time.

we stayed here last October and just saying our room did not resemble the one shown, i would not use expedia to book, call direct and you MIGHT have a chance for a better room there are rooms in middle of property that looked the best we stayed there after a storm and their little beach area was full of... Great bang for your buck. Good staff. Love the grounds themselves and hanging in the public spaces near the ocean. Would go back. Only complaint was some if the burners were out on the stove. To be fair I didn't mention it to staff.

I booked a night at this hotel to take my husband to the keys for a weekend for his birthday (we lived in Palm Beach at the time). We didn't want to stay in Key West as its just too busy there for us. This place is about halfway between the start of the keys and Key West. The area... More

We booked the Blackfin Resort for one week in January. Luckily we upgraded to a double room because the singles were very small. The double room was not much better -it had a jail cell feel to it with only two small windows that were too high to see out. It was warm when we visited and we needed to... More

We booked this room sight unseen. When we pulled in from Overseas Highway, I thought to myself "Lord what did we get ourselves into!" The Blackfin Resort is obviously a little dated. OK, a lot dated! But the room was clean and the people were very accommodating. The location was fantastic and I would definitely stay here again. It beats... More
