The name Resort is a big stretch considering the condition of the facility. The place is old and run down. The beach was unusable due to the rotting seaweed. To check in you have to go to another motel. The only saving grace was it was clean. There was a very small pool. My suggestion is to look elsewhere.

Booked via expedia night prior paid $637 for 3 night stay the pictures on the site looked great but what a total LIE! After 6 hr drive from ORL get there to find hotel disgustingly NOT a "resort" and more like a roach motel. Infested. Broken glass in the "broken balcony" sliding door lock wouldn't lock and was being closed... More

I have been staying here for years whenever I want to visit the Florida Keys. This is not, I repeat, not the Hilton. What it is though is a budget friendly, family friendly, pet friendly place to stay. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.. It is a place to lay your head down after a busy day snorkeling, swimming,... More

We booked this room knowing it was not a nice, new motel. We actually prefer older places with no lobbies, elevators, etc., however this was beyond what we can even stomach. The shanty like bldgs have tin roofs and look like they about to fall down. We didn't even go in (the lobby is in another property next door). The... More

Overall, we had a nice stay, but only because we were "lucky." When we first arrived, as soon as I entered our room, my first thought was...... a very sarcastic.... "resort???" The room was nothing like what was advertised, extremely small, old, rundown, I was there with my elderly parents and a sister, and the prospect of sharing this small... More

My family and I recently took a trip down to this so-called, "Resort" and honestly it's one of the WORST experiences I've ever been too. First of all, those pictures that you're looking at were probably taken about 20 years ago because that is NOT what it looks like. As soon as we got their we told them we were... More

This place needs to be reported to the Florida regulators. It is not clean and just disgusting. The bed linens are old, the pillows are old and the mattresses are ancient. Do not stay here. Spend the money to stay somewhere else. It is not rustic charm as the staff would like you to believe.

I should have read the reviews and I probably wouldn't have stayed there. But I was looking for cheap and that's exactly what I got. I didn't expect Cheap's cousins, Shabby and RunDown. What an awful place. It was built in the 50s and apparently hasn't been updated since. We stopped to see the place before we checked in (check... More

And my opinion continued to worsen as the days went by! Everything was just a little "not quite right" The room were very small, and in need of cleaning painting updating. I think they should tear it down and start over. Also there were 3 different couples who reserved a certain size/number of beds and they were not given the... More

My initial impression of this "resort" did not change throughout my one night stay. As I walked up it looked like the ownership had not put much money into the rooms since they were built. As you entered the room you see the paper thin sheets, the old kitchenette, the small flat panel TV (Not HD) but the worst part... More
