We have visited the keys many times but this was the first time we brought our boat. The Royal Hawiian Motel Botel was perfect for us. The docking was great and made boating so much easier than having to launch everyday. The room (no. 7) was large and comfortable with a full size fridge and top freezer, stove and sink.... More

We rented 2 rooms at this hotel,on july 24th to july 27th, 2014 and the owners or managers of that place were very rude with us, charged extra fees (30 dollars) for a little dog, they were watching us all the time, it was a very uncomfortable situation, no presure to wash the boat and you have to pay for... All Hotels and Motels have rules and guidelines. Thank you for taking the time to write. The key word here is communication. When guests make a reservation and advise how many people are In their party and how many pets they are bringing at that moment they are advised of the fees involved. All hotels and motels that are pet... More

Great place to hang for a quick getaway!!! Friendly staff will attend to your needs. Love the setup of having your boat mourned rigth behind your room sliding glass doors. It's very convinient plus a fish cleaning station as well. Clean rooms and very affordable for the Keys. Definetedly recommend it.

We stayed 5 days in June. This botel is located right on the Vaca Cut making access to both gulf and Atlantic very easy. Great having boat tied up right outside your room, makes loading and unloading a breeze. Rooms were very clean as always. Staff was always helpful and knowledgeable of the area. I have been staying here for... More

We just love staying here on our two month stay in the winter months. We've been coming here for 5 years now and it's like our own home away from home. We just love Laura and Phil. They keep everything so neat and clean and are a very friendly couple and are both extremely nice. We absolutely love the pool... More

Once again, we were lucky enough to enjoy a wonderful stay at the R HB! Great weather, good fishing, and a typical laid back ambience made for another memorable weekend. You'll find Marathon a lot less crowded after May 15 which makes for a more pleasant vacation. As expected, Laura & Phil, the managers, accomodated all of our needs making... More

I just can say enough about this place, this was our second visit here, I'll tell you what I love about it. The hotel is cozy, AC works great on a really hot summer day, extremely clean and smells clean. Excellent night's sleep, really quiet place with blackout curtains. The boat dock works great for us, step outside and there's... More

This quaint motel/botel is everything Marathon is about. It is literally on the water where you can dock your boat or just fish from your back door. My room was a kitchenette complete with standard size refrigerator and stove with comfortable bedding and did I say tidy? Yes the entire complex is tropically lush, yet extremely well groomed and maintained.... More

stayed here from 05/11/14 to 05/16/14. Royal Hawaiian was recommended by a friend of a friend. We were very pleased with the price, room ( effect. w/kitchen), location, really everything. This is a older facility so don't expect a hotel chain but you get everything you want/need. I would rate it excellent except the management lady was not friendly, barely... More

I have stayed several times here and enjoy it tremendously. Easy access to the ocean and gulf. Rooms are always clean and nice pool at the end of a fishing trip. Barbeque are available by the ramp . Nice climate and overall a very nice place. Very good Cuban sea food the street also.
