We have a dog and do not like to travel without him. This place is pet friendly so that definitely made it attractive for us. They offer different set ups for each of the cottages so they have something for every type of customer and budget. Definitely want to pay attention to what each of the cottages has before booking... i appreciate funky old motels in south Florida. There is something nostalgic about that '50's thing. That said, this place should draw high marks with me, but it just didn't cut it. The rooms were clean, but the AC was way loud and the shower was plugged up. The Tiki bar was a big draw in the photos, but unfortunately... More

The place was really cool with outdoor showers it didn't feel like a hotel it felt like I was at a friends in a guest room very clean and the terms and conditions stated check in was between 4-8 we didn't arrive until 11:30pm we booked through booking.com and were able to have someone let us in was stressed for... We stayed in cottage 10. Listen, all the cottages are close together. If you're going to have arguments or loud sex, your neighbors are probably going to hear you. The furnishings were definitely threadbare, the bed was cheap, but it was clean, the shower was newer. The location was convenient. Would I stay there again, probably not but it was... More

This was by far the worst place we have stayed. We arrived late, or we would have looked for another place. There was lots of mold in bedroom, holes in the wall, and it looked like it should be condemned! I will be reporting them to the health dept. In Marathan. I can't even believe that these people are allowed... More

The room was small but fine, and the bed was comfortable. The room did, however, have an outside toilet and shower, and no curtain on the bedroom door - so if a person had looked over the fence, they would have been able to see the occupants in bed. I didn't like this. I think a hotel should tell you... More

Well this comes with 2 different views...mine and my sons. My son picked this place because we thought we were going to have to bring my dog so I believe it is pet friendly. We didn't have to bring the dog after all. I myself thought the place was really cute and cozy, very old Florida style cottage. My son... More

We stayed for 1 night during lobster season. The tiki hut area was nice and quiet. Hammocks and nice foliage. You expect a tiki hut as such to be up and running...but no. Not such a big deal for us though. We stayed in cottage #14. Attached to backside of office. The office has access to this cottage through a... More

Check the state website for complaints prior to staying. I did not and when we got their we immediately went sight seeing and came back to shower and their were fish guts and juice in shower. We started looking around and the dirt an dust on the floor was disgusting, windows broken and non operational, door deadbolt did not lock... More
