We stayed at the Cheeca Lodge over April vacation for 4 nights. It was a very nice place with beautiful grounds, nice pools, tennis, golf and a fishing pier. We stayed in a 1 bed king suite with a resort view. The unit was on the third floor with both stairs and an elevator and parking below the unit. There... More

Being world travelers we have never been to the Keys so we figured with our busy schedules (80+ hour work weeks) why not take our plane down to the Keys. The staff at Marathon airport were very helpful and the rental car was waiting. We drove about 30 miles to this resort and checked in. I had researched this resort... More

Overpriced for what it is. No beach to speak of. Realistically a motel. Service is quite good to be fair.

We were in the Keys in April and had lunch at the restaurant at Cheeca Lodge. We had a table outside with an incredible view of the water. Our waiter was exceptional, the food was excellent and the price was affordable. This place is beautiful and so relaxing. We hope to go back for an overnight stay soon. The restaurant... More

This is the 1st of two reviews but felt while we were at the Tiki Bar we should share... Make sure to chat it up with Bruce, he will make your stay memorable! Last time we were here (pre-renovation and before the fire) the Tiki Bar was not here or we didn't notice it. What a welcome addition!!! Bruce's top... More

We were struggling to find upscale lodging for our family trip to the Keys for spring break, as most of the top end places are allergic to under 16's. The Cheeca is what it is - a good, middle ranking resort for families (and maybe a top end spa for adults - can't comment). We enjoyed many of the facilities:... More

The Cheeca Lodge was everything we wanted for a get away weekend and more. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The tone is set as soon as you check in as you are offered a complimentary glass of champagne. We used one of the deal sites to stay here for about half the price, which made it lovely. I would not be able to afford the regular room rate! That being said, the grounds are lovely, and the staff are quite helpful Tennis, kayaks, bikes and golf are included in the $39éday guest fee, so make sure you use... More
