Granted, one must expect the holiday rate to be exorbitant. Nonetheless, we were not impressed with Cheeca Lodge. On the positive side, my wife did compliment the spa. The valet, restaurant servers and one of the concierge (the other was useless) were all pleasant and professional. The grounds are well kept. The front desk ladies, even with the free champagne,... We are big fans of the Cheeca Lodge, and we recently went back to celebrate our son's birthday. Each staff member we dealt with went way beyond to help make our son's birthday stay extra special. It is amazing how far the little extras go in the heart of an 8 year old and the rest of our family! While... More

My wife and I had a tremendous time here at Cheeca Lodge. We are packing up our stuff now and I had to take a minute to rave about our experience. Have you ever heard of radical hospitality, yep it's here. Housekeeping, housekeeping, housekeeping!!! I start here because without your hard work everything else would be irrelevant. The leadership/director of... More

Great for all generations, plenty to keep everyone busy or relaxing and everything in between. We come every year to relax and enjoy all this island has to offer. We used to go to Key West but since we have a family Islamorada is best suited for families,

first night of 3 here...the hotel on the website is not the one on arrival...fantastic/first class resort/amenities/property and view. the staff has been great. they are pleasant ,accomadating and joyful. my only regret..only staying 3days insetad of 5. our only suggestion :updated and more flattering website..taking 'underpromising and overdelivering' to new heights.thanks

My family of four (husband, wife, 2 teenage boys) has visited this resort for two consecutive summers (2012 and 2013). We absolutely love it. We will be back this summer if we can squeeze it in. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The bathrooms are modern and spacious. The grounds are absolutely beautify. My boys enjoy fishing from the... More

We got upgraded to an OceanFront suite, that was bigger and more glorious than my first apartment. Everything about the resort was immaculate and amazing. Loved the bartenders at the beach bar, they made delish margaritas and blueberry mojitos. everyone was polite and helpful at the resort, whenever needed, and felt like we were in the caribbean. Pool a bit... More

We are delighted you enjoyed your oceanfront suite, and you discovered everything here to be immaculate and amazing. We are thankful for your praises of our entire staff, especially the staff at the Tiki Bar. Our apologies for the early rock washing, we will definitely address that with our grounds crew. Thank you for writing, and please plan a return... More

We have been here twice in the past three years, and very much enjoy this resort. Stayed in the lodge (didn't have an ocean view, but nice room). Beautiful grounds, and always treated well by the staff. I'm very surprised to see people complain about the service in reviews! We have not ate here at the resort while staying, as... More

A great hotel choice for us. Limoncello restaurant has gluten free pizzas and pasta. A real bonus for our daughter who is gluten sensitive. Not all the restaurants at the hotel seemed to offer as many options. Great setting overlooking the ocean although the hotel bar is near to the restaurant and was noisy. Service couldn't have been better though.... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights this past week. We always had heard that the Cheeca Lodge was a premier luxury property. What we encountered was the complete opposite. When we arrived, there was no valet attendant available to open the doors for our vehicle. My wife and I left our car parked near the entrance. We... More

We certainly appreciate your feedback, and delighted you found our pool staff to be very attentive. We were, however, quite surprised by your review. It is truly a very rare occasion when a member of our valet staff is not right there to great you and help you with your luggage – our apologies! We are disappointed that our accommodations... More
