We were welcome with champagne, we felt great on how far the staff goes to make your stay at checca lodge a great one . I didn't leave the property because everything we needed was inside the property. Restaurant was great and we enjoyed a relaxing day at the spa with my wife . I recommend everyone to walk the... This was our second trip to Cheeca. We had a wonderful time. We loved the room we had (one bedroom lagoon suite) the last time and requested it again when I made the booking. The woman making the booking told me it would be a done deal and it was! We were greeted upon arrival by Earl with a big... More

We decided to make a quick getaway with the kids to Cheeca Lodge last week and were very pleasantly surprised and the quality of both the facilities and the staff. We began our visit by meeting with Tiffany at the front desk who saw that we had two small children and suggested an upgrade to a beautiful room in the... More

What a marvelous place in the Keys. We had 3 incredible nights at Cheeca. Between the lush landscape and the wonderful ocean view room how could anyone complain. We didn’t go other places to eat and we were glad we didn’t. All the restaurants were well staffed and the food was outstanding. The staff was very attentive and we were... More

If you do not mind spending money in USA, this is where you should go. The suites in the main building are simply gorgeous....Balconies with Jacuzzi overlooking the ocean are second to none. This place is like New York-style vacation in a beach setting. Lot of options to spend money on food, movie rentals, deep sea fishing, excursions etc. Most... More

That about sums it up for us. We decided to stay here for one night as a splurge and were very disappointed. The room was a bit shabby, the pillows were uncomfortable, the food in the restaurant was mediocre, even the poolside drinks were awful. My kids enjoyed the pool and the dock, but this place is simply not worth... More

First time to ever write a review. Our family just returned from our much needed Spring Break vacation. Very disappointed with the lack of customer service! The restaurants had very slow service, the concierge staff was very rude and spoke to us with a bad tone, the maid service didn't clean our room until 5pm every day, the bed was... More

Everything here is overpriced ands the service is sub-par. Everyone hardly notices you here. Looks like management has been resting on their laurels. It is a beautiful property and the landscaping is amazing, but it stops there. Lots of corners cut on food, quality and service.

I stayed at this resort in January 2014 with my 8-year old son for a long weekend. It was about as described, pretty clean, nice facility, mediocre service. The onsite restaurant choices are not very good, but not horrible, and offer nice views. The concierge staff was lazy -- refused to set up a 2- hour fishing charter, saying they... More

Cheeca Lodge is lovely. The grounds are beautiful and lush. There is plenty for everyone to do to stay busy, but if you want more, there is fishing and quirky, local restaurants serving delicious food within a 2 mile radius. My only complaint, and it is a small in the scope of all the positives, is I wish they were... More
