Stayed here for 2 nights and picked it over other similarly priced places. BIG MISTAKE. The place looks ok from the outside, but the rooms are motel-like. The couch is old, had a bod odor, and stained. The bathroom with its exposed plumbing was a bit disturbing. Our corner room was lucky enough to be within earshot of Rumrunners Bar... more

We were looking for the perfect getaway. This place has a bar and food on the beach. The trick is, the bar closes by 6pm and the food is gone by 3pm (at least during our stay). Living in Florida, I understand the issues with pests, but we saw the same pests day after day outside our door. We really... more

To start off, I stopped by this hotel the same day that bartender's bash started. The hotel claims this party, that is hosted by the resort across the marina, is a holiday. Therefor I was charged $363/night on a Monday night. I went to look for a more affordable hotel with my 2 friends, but with all the traffic we... more

My husband and I spent 6 days and 5 nights at the Pelican Cove and we absolutely loved every minute of it. We were there from April 20th until April 25th in room # 333. This room is an efficiency with a full kitchen. I am soooo thankful that I did not allow the negative reviews on this site to... more

This place is amazing. We spent there just few days, then kept travelling to Key West. Islamorada doesnt offer much but the Pelican Cove has nice rooms and bar, nice beach in front of it, also a pool, friendly people working there. Dont miss the helicopter tour. Reasonable priced. more

Went to Islamorada to scuba dive and visit The Keys. We had a roomy suite with full kitchen. The beach was nice and watersports were right there on premises. The ocean view was nice. We would go again. It's not a 5-star suite, but was clean and comfortable. more

Wow! I've traveled a lot and never, ever encountered such rudeness (from the staff), filth (in the rooms), and deceit (advertising this place as a resort). I'm shocked that this place is open for business. more

My son and I stayed here for two nights and were absolutely appalled. There is nothing upscale about this hotel. The room smelled of old smoke, the bathroom was filthy, the carpet was filthy but the grosses thing of all was that the sheets and pillows had not been changed. There was hair on my pillow, the sheets were dirty... more

When you stay in the keys you cant expect too much from your hotel. I don't think they have built a new hotel in In islamorada in at least 10 years. This hotel is one of them. The hotel was decent the rooms looked to have been updated but still looked a tad old. I think all the rooms have... more

My husband & I just spent 2 nights at The Pelican Cove Marina Hotel. The rooms look to have been redecorated, they had newer carpeting, sofa bed and bedding. But... the rooms are still dated in appearance. It is an older complex. The office staff was good. Our first room didn't have water pressure in the shower; they offered to... more
