We booked a last minute trip to Islamorada for Thursday January 7. 1 night , found the Coconut Cove on line and although we have been to Islamorada before, approx 8 yeas ago and stayed at the Chesapeake, very nice by the way, so thought we would try something new, Booked the Coconut Cove, got a room in the "tower".... As many of the other reviewers already stated, this place is NOT a resort. The pool area is the best part of this place. Everything else, and I truly mean EVERYTHING else needs to be completely updated. The room we stayed in was directly above the "office" where you check in. Which put us right next to their basketball "court"... More

Stayed one night while driving through the Florida Keys. Property is huge with a number of "cabins" in addition to the motel itself. Stayed in the "Honey Moon suite" as it was the only room available and didn't have any previous reservations made. Room was located on the 2nd Floor and featured a large Jacuzzi tub and semi private balcony.... More

I had my destination wedding here in November. While the setting itself is gorgeous (beachside ceremony setup, twinkling string lights, beautiful big swimming pool), Magda helped turn it into a truly spectacular sight with her decor. She is a fantastic wedding planner and held my hand through every step of the way. They also offer so many wedding services in... More

The whole experience was amazing!! The staff was very attentive to everyone needs and so personable. The wedding pwrperations were perfectly arranged and loved the fireworks at the end of this very special day.

If you have read some of the more negative reviews of this place you may want to write it off completely but don't. We were down for a wedding and thought the resort was a pleasant surprise. The pool area is very nice with plenty of lounge chairs for sun bathing. While the resort is on the water there is... More

Let me say if your used to staying in massive resorts this isn't the place for you. If you like Mom and Pops places that have some character you will be fine. Our room was a small cabin with a attached cabin to the other side of us. The rooms are older. With that being said yes it can use... More

I will start with the front desk. Pattty: don't change a thing. After a few minutes I felt as if I had known you for a while and you were welcoming a returning guest back. Beyond excellent guest service that certainly made me feel welcome. Even though the bungalows are a bit dated they were clean and had everything I... More

Our experience at the Coconut Cover Resort was wonderful. It was the first time we were in the Keys and the place (though a little old) was generally maintained in an appropriate manner. We enjoyed lounging around the pool, which was quite picturesque and also really enjoyed watching the sunrise over the Atlantic on our last morning there. The room... More

We spent four days here for a destination wedding. The resort property is perfect for the occasion. Great pool, nice sandy area to lounge and watch the water-all around great atmosphere. The rooms were very clean and the entire setting is very tropical. The staff is phenomenal. Magda is the best wedding planner I have ever seen. She had everything... More
