My wife and I just got back from our honeymoon on Islamorada and we could not have been happier with our stay at Casa Morada. I haven't stayed at a place more accommodating or one that had a staff more catering to our needs. Whatever we needed, they were willing to get. This B&B is on a beautiful piece of... More

Pros: Beautiful location - the grounds are well kept and tropical. Island pool - definately the highligh of the place. Very soothing to listen to the waves lap onto the island walls. The only negative was how cold the pool was. Attentive staff - Everyone was friendly and helpful and loved the cold scented towels by the pool. Cons: Stayed... More

As first time visitor's to the Florida Keys, I did much homework to decide where to stay. Although quite pricey, Casa Morada was Fodor's pick in the Upper Keys. There is a reason why the hotel website does not show the actual rooms. We arrived after 7pm after traveling since 10am from Texas. Pleasant greetings from the front desk informed... More

Very quiet. Zen like atmosphere and soothing decor. No kids allowed. (Yay!) Beautiful view of the bay if you stay in one of the Sea View suites. Try to book the "Shangra La" suite. It's got a great balcony. A manatee stopped by for a visit one day! So adorable. They serve wine but don't have a liqour license for... More

We stayed at Casa Morada for a week in January - our third visit in five years - this time to celebrate my 60th birthday. It is one of the most relaxing hotels we have ever stayed in - lovely, spacious, breezy rooms with elegant minimalist room decor that suits up perfectly. Staff and on-site owners who couldn't be more... More

A beautiful small resort in one of Florida's less tacky Keys. We had to wait beyond check-in time to get our room, but it was gorgeous. We got a room at the main building, the more distant from the beach, with a huge terrace and a beautiful marble bath with ocean view. Service was very welcoming and attended to every... More

My husband, daughter and I just stayed at Casa Morada for the second time in as many years. We hope to continue returning to this beautiful oasis in the Keys. We travel extensively around the world, and find Casa Morada to be the perfect small luxury hotel. It is peaceful, thoughtfully landscaped, well-maintained, and decorated in an appropriately sophisticated but... More

We stayed here about a year ago, but I forgot to review it. The price was a bit high and our schedule was a bit tight, so we were only able to stay a night, but it was one of the most relaxing 24 hours we've spent in a long time. We were so relaxed, it was almost surreal to... More

This is a small and very nice 16 suites hotel. Rooms are tastefully furnished in light colours. There is a sleeping and living area, divided by the bathroom. I stayed in a garden suite with a small tarrace leading to the large garden area. The tarrace has a sort of day bed, which is very nice to relax and have... More
