I stayed at the Islander for 3 nights in November of 2007 while there for a wedding. The rooms were small, but cozy, clean and comfortable, the two pools and hot tub were nice and located right outside of my back door, the food was excellent and the scenery was beautiful. We had a family reunion at the Islander Resort in July. While the hotel overall was nice there were a few things that were bothersome but I guess for the Keys----it is what you expect. Nice layout to hotel, as usual, no "beach" per say in the Keys. Coral sand which is hard & the water is full of seaweed... more

My family and I have come to the Islamorada area for 20 years. we have always enjoyed and looked forward to Morada Bay, Fish Company, Bentleys,Chica and Lazy days to dine. NEVER AGAIN!! Blue water Tiki at the Islander is by far the nicest, best presentation, best atmosphere, friendly staff, the best food, great drinks, and just the best dining... more
