The nice small residential property is tucked away on the side of the road. half way to Key West. this is a great place to stay if you want to watch your fundage. the rooms are clean, bedding is clean and the management is Canadian. LOL Yes Canadians who own an inn in Florida. It's friendly, has WIFI and also... More

If you are looking for a great place to stay that is reasonable priced this is the place. It's clean but not fancy. If you stay at the Blue Fin. I am not sure about the Key Lantern. You can also walk to Lorelei Restaurant and watch the Sunset eat and drink. Nice place to stay great prices..

Room was clean, breakfast close by as well as tikibar. Cute place. 20minutes south is BahiaHonda park where we spent our days. Then fishing our evenings. So it was nice to not pay an arm & a leg for somewhere to just sleep and shower.

I spent two nights at the Blue Finn Inn. My trip was more focused on Fishing and Diving, and not too concerned about staying at a 5 star resort, due to the fact that my wife wasn’t with. She would normally pick a Ritz or “W” type resort, and this was the total opposite. My room and bathroom was very... More

We stayed one night at the Key Lantern Motel. This is a very basic no frills motel. If you are looking for a resort style hotel, look elsewhere. Our room had a kitchenette with one double bed. The furniture showed showed nicks and scratches plus a few stains. However, the room was clean. If you are looking for an inexpensive... More

this is an old property in Islamorada that offers extremely low prices during the weekdays. now, you get what you pay for, so don't expect resort style luxury. what you can expect is a clean, quiet, and safe place to stay. we had a room out back that was basically a cement block; but it was clean and comfortable, and... We had a roomy, lovely, kitchenette that was clean, conveniently located and pretty quiet. It was quite inexpensive by Keys standards, and the 7th day of our stay was free. Not perfect--mattress sagged a bit and two burners on the stove didn't work, but we also had a full sized refrigerator and were able to fix most of our own... More

Key Lantern/Blue Finn Inn isn't a luxury hotel in the keys, but is an excellent find for travelers that are looking for a quiet and clean place to sleep at a very affordable price. I stayed in the hotel room with the full kitchenette and it was very spacious and I was very happy with what I received for the... More

Hard to explain to someone who's not been here. We stayed twice with friends in the past six years and opted to return by ourselves (spending a few days in the Keys between racing weekends in Sebring and West Palm). It's rough around the edges and not what one might expect if a regular or more upscale motel/hotel is your... More

For the price, it is a hidden gem in the keys. Near to everything, clean, safe. The owners are very nice and amenable. We will stay again when we go back to Islamorada. The only thing is they do not allow pets. Having tile floors, it could be a good marketing tool if they allowed pets, at least, the caged... More
