I stayed in the $169 studio closest to the little boat ramp. I just love the place, immaculately clean, Manager Mike and "Jose" (the other Mike) are very helpful. You can fish off the the Marina, 3 sharks 2 big mangos and some really large sand perch were caught. We brought our Seadoo and hung out on the sand bar... More

We stayed at the Ragged Edge for six nights at the end of February, This was our first trip to the keys and I had searched alot to try to find a place where we could fish from the pier and and not be overpriced or a dump. I called and talked to the Manager and read some of the... More

On our first night in Florida we were lucky enough to stay at Ragged Edge Resort. Arriving sticky and hassled from Miami Airport, Mike had correctly and impressively predicted our arrival time and Jose emerged from the dark to greet us and show us the ropes. He recommended a pizza delivery place, which was a great way to be able... More

Ragged Edge is a beautifully landscaped place to escape from the hustle and bustle of life (this was our second stop after a manic few days in Miami!). Jimmy welcomed us personally, showed us around, and was always ready with hints and tips. It is located on Plantation Key in Islamorada ("Village of Islands" and the "Sportfishing Capital of the... The Ragged Edge is a nice find in the Keys. A quiet, peaceful place with a beautiful setting. We were there for three nights in studio apartment for $169.00 per night. The room was small and dated, but spotlessly clean and comfortable. The owners are helpful. We felt safe and secure in this small motel. The grounds are beautiful and... More

Ragged Edge Resort in Islamorada truly exceeded my expectations. Lodging in the Keys can be touristy, run-down, dumpy, overpriced and poorly maintained. NONE of these titles apply to Ragged Edge. We stayed for 4 nights. Upon our arrival we were greeted by name by the owner/manager. He remained extremely helpful throughout the trip. The property itself is especially well kept.... More

We stayed at the Ragged Edge for four nights in the middle of January. What a find! We had the only motel room, which was just perfect for our short stay. The room had a half size refrig and a coffeepot. Our deck was shared by the apartment next door and we had a lovely view of the water. There... More

This is a nice, quiet place to stay in a quiet town known for its sport fishing. We felt a little out of place because we did not have a boat, or fishing gear. We arrived on Christmas Eve. We asked the property manager where we could buy some gear so we could fish from the dock. He generously lent... More

We stayed in two adjacent rooms with kitchenettes, lovely screened patios, comfy beds, large bathroom, excellent coaster bikes at our disposal, very friendly management, clean. Thank you, Trip Advisor, and reviewers for sending us down the Ragged Edge Resort path! Only one teeny tiny request - a microwave would be very useful.

We were in Islamorada over Christmas and the Ragged Edge had some availability, unlike just about anywhere else. This is the beginning of high season and prices skyrocket. Ragged Edge a very homey, family-oriented sort of place. It's located just north of the main islands that collectively constitute Islamorada. Many of the guests are frequent regulars who've been coming for... More
