Our recent trip to Key West was our 3rd return since our first trip in Nov 2007. Each of these three returns have been to the Mango Tree Inn and we have stayed in the upstairs suite now all 3 times. The attractions that keep us returning include the beautiful pool area surrounded by lush hibiscus planters and orchids, the... more

Stayed at the Mango Tree Inn a few weeks ago and can't say enough about this lovely guesthouse and it's proprietors. There are many small guesthouses and bed & breakfast type accommodations in Key West, but apart from the clean, beautifully decorated rooms here, I think the thing that most sets this place apart for me is the warmth and... more

I can not say enough good things about the Mango Tree Inn, and it's owners Peggy and Johnny. They made me feel most welcome from the time I stepped foot on the porch, until I departed. I stayed in a very nice studio on the 1st floor with a private entrance facing Simonton St. It was nicely furnished, had a... more

We traveled to Key West for the Fourth of July holiday. After reading several reviews on Trip Advisor and a recommendation from our travel agent, we decided to stay at the Mango Tree Inn. It was definitely better than we expected. The location is spectacular - walking distance to most everything but far enough to afford a quiet from the... more

The Mango Tree is was very nice! The rooms were exceptionally clean, with fresh flowers everywhere from the bed to the toilet bowls! At first we were concerned about making too much news (two couples traveling together can get rowdy), but since we shared the back part of the house upstairs, it turned out to not be a big deal.... more

The Mango Tree Inn is one block from Duval and nicely situated between Truman and the port. We had a room with a separate entrance off the street. Every day the room was well cleaned and fresh flower petals and flowers were on the bed and in the bathroom. The hosts were very nice and readily answered questions, offered suggestions,... more

The Mango Tree Inn was wonderful. We stayed during Fantasy Fest, and it was a perfect location just a couple blocks off Duval. The location was very quiet even though you were so close to all the action. The owners were delightful and went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect even during such a crazy time in... more

It was our first time at Mango Tree Inn and we absolutely loved it. We stayed in the room by the pool and it was spacious and had all the amenities of home. We used the kitchen more than we expected and having an ice-maker for professional drinkers is a must. Christine kept our room looking beautiful with fresh flowers... more

I have to admit that I was shocked by the poor review of the Mango Tree Inn (March 2007). We recently not only stayed at the Mango but also got married there and it was absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the room closest to the pool and Peggy and Johnny, the owners, went out of their way to make us... more

This place is NOT worth the money. There are dozens of inns on the island, and I am certain one could find a friendlier, better place than this. The pool is a nice perk. However, the inn is located on a noisy corner, making it virtually impossible to enjoy a quiet afternoon by the pool. (Especially with the pool guys,... more
