I'm giving the ol' Spindrift 5 stars because it does exactly what I need it to do for the price I need it to be. A place to sleep, a shower, basic motel-ish amenities all with in blocks of the fun stuff in KW. It's a clean, relatively inexpensive, and save place to crash after daily Keys adventures. The 24-hour... More

Very basic motel, nice bed, no closet, no shampoo or conditioner but hey at least we got soap. The parking is not guaranteed so if you find a spot plan on walking, it takes about 10 mins to walk to Duval. We stayed one night, it was $130 plus tax. It's Key West expect to pay more even for a... Key West is a very expensive place, but here you get an affordable room. You have a nice small pool for relaxing. In the morning you get coffee. You can walk to all the entertainment in the evening. We heared that the hotel get in a short time a new owner and there will be changes in the near future.

Key West is an expensive town. Hotels that are nice and in a good location/condition go for $300-400 per night. I just couldn't bring myself to pony up that kind of dough for my two night trip. I opted for this budget option just 1 block off Duval St central to all attractions. Looking back I'm glad I did it.... More

Husband and I spent a night at hotel for less than what a campsite would have cost since intent was to camp out. Glad we found this location. Right off Duval. Walking distance to attractions. Clean with pool. Hotel old but fits right in with city. Would do again a best rate.

The rooms are very outdated and small, but clean. Very conveniently located so that you are in walking distance from everywhere we wanted to see. The staff was not overly friendly. We did ask about leaving our car parked for an extra 90 min after checkout and the staff working at counter was not very accommodating. No shampoo or hair... More

The Spindrift Motel in Key West was an excellent stay for us! We were there for 3 days and it was great. Close to Duval St. and other popular Key West attractions. We mostly walked from the motel everywhere. Very good restaurants near by too. The room was basic, clean and all we needed. We only sleep and get ready... More

I stayed here because they had a room. The bed was ok. The room was clean. The place is rundown and nothing more than a basic place to stay. It is a really long walk to the Wharf. As I told the front desk attendant "I can't believe that I'm paying $700 to stay here three nights and they can't... More

I will stay again. Very clean, Jim was so nice. Why stay anywhere else. You don't go to the keys to stay in the room! I recommend it. I'll be back!! the location is close to everything right off of Duval st. And to the southernmost point, 90 miles to Cuba.

One block off Duval street and a 15 minute walk from the docks. We booked two rooms for 8 people. One room had three bedrooms, bath and small table the other two bedrooms. All beds where queen size, comfortable and with clean linnen. The rooms are simple but clean the front desk is not manned 24 hours but there is... More
