This hotel's location is pretty good. 10 minutes walk to Duval St. It is close to the harbor too. It is one of the houses or two houses converted into a hotel. In Key West, there are many of these bed and breakfasts. The Breakfast is the simplest I have tried. There are only 4 parking spots. Street parking is supposed to be easy nearby. The rooms are clean. We had a suite with two bathrooms. Very quite. I will stay again.

the best service around, great rooms and the perfect weather and free parking, just walk or take the on/off trolley centrally located to Duvall St, we chose to walk the distance and visit Mallory Square, Quaint shops and restaurants, tours galore. Plenty of quaint Bec and Breakfast Inns as well. Visited at Margaritaville, The Hemmingway House.and Furthermost Point, My husband is eagerly awaiting the next trip back via Key West Express.

Stayed here for 3 nights in May 2023 Pros - Great location - Duval Street is only a short walk away - Gorgeous historic style guesthouse in Key West Old Town - Lovely room - clean and spacious - Chilled vibe - Breakfast is included. Limited choice, but does the job - Bike rental available - great for seeing the sights of Key West Cons - Limited parking at front and rear of hotel. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Loved it!

We couldn’t make the trip to Key West due to an accident resulting in a broken femur, surgery, a five day hospital stay and four months of physical therapy. When we contacted them to say we couldn’t come, they said to send proof. We provided all the requested doctor and hospital documentation. NO REFUND! NOT HAPPY! When we can finally travel again, we will not book our reservation with The Palms Hotel.

We only spent one night. The bed was super comfortable, room was clean, staff were friendly, and the pool was refreshing. You can find beach towel & cold drinks in the office. Breakfast was good. I would definitely stay again.

First time lodging at this hotel. Everything was wonderful! Breakfast each morning and served till 11:00. Pool was extra nice with later hours than most hotels. Relaxing pool side furniture, high top tables, and tables with umbrellas. The front of the hotel was very inviting with wicker furniture and a double swing that was extra comfy! Staff was very attentive and helpful with any questions we had. Location is about a mile, or less from Duval Street in a quiet and quant neighborhood. The upkeep of the hotel was beautiful, and the rooms were just enough for us to enjoy. Very clean, comfortable bed, mini refrigerator, sitting area, and all the toiletries that you would need on a trip! We were very satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel for your visit to Key West!

The quaint, clean hotel was centrally located to everything in key west. The pool area was beautiful. The included breakfast was a very nice way to start your day. We need Aries the car and walked everywhere from this hotel. It is a little bit of a walk but it’s beautiful out so why not!!

This is a beautiful quiet hotel in the historic old town Key West. Expect to park your car a couple blocks away from your room. This is a secure area, I did not worry about ours. The room had two excellent full beds. It was very small, which is not surprising as this is hotel is more than 100 years old. Therefore there is no place to hang a wet towel, or a swimsuit, except in the small shower stall. If you value that don't stay in historic part. The pool is sparking salt water, perfectly kept. Breakfast buffet right out there, exactly as advertised, more than adequate.

This visit was a mixed bag of good and not-so-good. It is an older hotel with about 37 rooms, I think? The Pros: Room was cute, had a mini-fridge, comfortable bed with thick pillows. Staff was friendly and Mando, the Argentinian Dogo was adorable and HUGE! You could easily rent comfortable bikes with locks from the hotel for $15/day (compared to about $18 from a bike rental place) and we found using bikes to be very safe and efficient means of travel around the main part of Key West. Heated Pool! The Cons: NOISE: this is an older, quaint hotel, but no soundproofing. Our room was right by the pool with tables and the ice machine right outside our door. We had to keep the door curtains shut all the time. People walking the walkways were very audible. PARKING. There were 4 parking spaces and one handicapped parking space. We parked our car and didn't move it for 3 days, fearing we might not be able to get a place to park if we moved it. ACCESSIBILITY. It is an older hotel, with a lot of uneven walkways and I think if I were someone who had mobility issues, it might be difficult to walk or use a wheelchair. BREAKFAST: There was the sweetest guy managing the mini-buffet at breakfast which ran from 8am-11am. Coffee was decent, and many teas to choose from. Cereal choices were cherrios and frosted flakes with milk and almond milk. There was cut cantaloupe, honeydew and grapes, I did not sample the first two as I don't like them, but the grapes looked pretty disgusting (many mashed) on Day 1, and they were not changed by Day 4 that I was there. It appeared that the same stuff was being put out each day. Same for the two bananas in the fridge. At leas 4 days old. There was also boiled eggs and yogurt, bread, pre-made commercial French toast, packaged muffins and danish. There were plastic-wrapped Granny Smith apples that made a nice breakfast paired with peanut butter. There were sausages in a crockpot that were pretty disgusting (looking and tasting). So while there was indeed variety at breakfast, there wasn't replenishing of fresh fruit for at least 4 days. It would have been nice to have access to a microwave either in the room or elsewhere.

Where do I begin. We were told it was one block back from Duval st. It isn’t. The hotel needs complete renovations. The old lady who served breakfast, was so unfriendly and looked like she could do with a shower. The room I had didn’t even have a window. Neither did the bathrooms. The bed was comfortable. One women who worked at the hotel, would walk round the hotel with a dog that’s banned in the uk it had a taser and spiked collar. It’s a Dogo Argentino. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again. Very unfriendly
