Given prices for the "name" hotels in Key West on a weekend, the Palms Hotel is quite a bargain. Like the proverbial aging dowager, however, it has seen better days and no amount of cosmetics is going to change that. Nonetheless, it is clean and comfortable and our room was of adequate size for the two of us. No elevators.... More

Clean and comfortable room. The staff was extremely friendly, specially the Azerbaijani guy. The location is also unbeatable, very close to Duvall St and other historic spots. I'll surely stay in the Palms again in my next vacation.

This is a basic but clean hotel. We enjoyed being in a neighborhood, and walked to a great dinner at Bistro Sole. Bike rentals from the hotel are $12 for 24 hours and made it super easy to get around. We liked the shady, quiet pool, the many seating areas on the porch, and the continental breakfast. It was lovely... More

For the second year during spring break we stayed at the Palms. They have a very decent breakfast to get you started for the day and the staff works very hard to give you whatever you need. The rooms are clean and have been painted recently. But the best thing about the Palms is its location in Old Town. It... More

Quaint and quirky. Old Key West. Well kept and clean. Friendly staff. Convenient to Duvall St., but in a picturesque, quiet neighborhood. If old style Key West lodging is what you're looking for, this is a good one.

Key West was on my "bucket List", but going there in winter is expensive. But we found a well-priced and lovely small hotel on line. It's not the Waldorf Astoria, but the rooms were clean and the staff friendly and helpful. It is centrally located on White Street, which meant within walking distance to Duvall Street and such sites as... More

This place was great! Friendly service, decent free breakfast (cold) until 11am by the pool, nice pool area, clean, etc. The rooms aren't huge, but they are exactly what you need. The hotel is a decent walk from the hustle and bustle of Duvall street, which is nice. Bikes are easily rented and make this no problem at all, but... More

It was a lot further from the boats and action - not an easy walk with bags - probably 1.5 miles. No hair dryer and no outlet in the bathroom. Place was run down and help was not helpful. Water took a long time to get hot in the shower. Pool looked nice. Breakfast was ok. Toilet almost tipped over... More

Thank you for bringing to my attention the need to look at the toilet in the 2nd room. We will do that immediately. As to the water flow, the ceiling in a room below was being immediately and adversely impacted by water that was coming from upstairs and there were 3 possible room options that it was coming from. After... More
