My husband and I stayed at the Palms Hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is "quaint" - small with a lot of charm. It's on the National Register of Historical Places because it was built in the 1800s. The good things about the hotel is the location - good place to get to all the downtown attractions without the cost... More

Having now been to Key West, I might look for something a little closer to Duval. This hotel was fine, though. It's on the edge of Old Town, so it's a good 1.25 miles to get to much of anything worth seeing. Even in October, Key West is HOT! And we're from Louisiana. Walking that far in blazing heat and... This place is unique and the architecture is beautiful, all wooden white buildings, took me back in time, happy and friendly housekeeping ladies, mostly from Mexico, and most speak very good English. One young man, that is an evening manager, student studying I.T. I think, very well spoken, educated, also speaks perfect English. Angela, my girl, is a married lady... More

I would rate this hotel as a NEGATIVE ZERO. My company reserved this hotel for me when I was briefing Veterans at NAS Key West. I arrived late in the evening, to find there was no place to park. I had to park in a residential area, which was real shady and dark and homeless people walking around, very scary.... More

but there are just too many things wrong with it. For starters it is expensive for the tiny room you get, using the shower or toilet in such a small space is a challenge. The Wifi is sporadic, the AC is lound and installed just above the bed which makes it useless. The beds are uncomfortable and urgently need to... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. By your description I’m not sure which room that you stayed in, but are sorry that you were not happy with the size and features of the room. We have been making upgrades/ updates to the property as a matter of course and also to make the room as inviting... More

The Palms Hotel is an older building. That being said, the grounds were very nice, room and bed were very nice. The bathroom was small, but very nice. I would recommend. The breakfast could be improved.**********I would like to take issue with the previous posters who said that this is a convenient location. If you are renting a bike or... More

At check-in we were given a full size bed though a queen was reserved. Got moved to a king size bed. . .too much bed for size of room. . .did have pool. . .breakfast was mostly stale breads and stale pastry. . .overall just okay.

I arrived at night in KW and the hotel was a little difficult to find at night. I was not able to reserve any parking but was informed that night while driving around looking for a space for 25 minutes, that parking was reserved for motorcycles. I parked a block away down a 1 way street and worried all night... More

When we arrived at Key West we were a little disappointed as it's not how we imagined. However once you get into Old Town that's where it comes alive with the smaller streets and the lovely old houses. This hotel is in a nice location, not a dodgy street and only a 10 min walk from the main part of... More

Great hotel, and very good, and helpful, staff and management! I recently stayed here, during the low season, for 8 days. In many ways, I am the worst kind of guest/reviewer that a hotel would want, since, unlike most tourists who are gone from their rooms for most of each day and much of each night, in pursuit of tourist-type...
