This place is perfectly situated near both the waterfront and Duval Street and within an easy walk of anywhere in the historic district. The street is busy, so ask for a back room if you want quiet (we did). The pool area was small but well laid out and we spent many hours just relaxing there. Our room was a... More

Spent two night at cypress house and loved it. The experience started with Scott who was upbeat and congenial - set us up with a room and checked our bags until the room was ready-gave us time to hit town for lunch. Afternoon cocktails and snacks around the pool area was inviting and good! Pool was warm and area cozy.... More

This is a 2 and 1/2 star hotel so expectations shouldn't be too high. We paid almost $300 for one night which I think is probably average for Key West in February. The staff was great, very helpful and friendly. We did not have a balcony room which was fine because the balcony rooms face the street which is very,... More

Our rates are indeed average for Key West at this time of year. The maintenance issues you mention aren't typical for the Cypress House Hotel, and I'd be really grateful if you could take a moment to e-mail me at msimmons@hkwi.net to let me know the number of the room you were in. We'd like to take a look and... More

We came to Key West for our wedding (just the two of us) and wanted somewhere quiet and classy to stay. Cypress House was wonderful, just far enough from Duval Street to be a little oasis of calm and yet close enough to walk to the action. We loved the relaxed nature of breakfast where you felt you were in... More

My wife and I stayed for three nights over the Valentine's weekend and could not have been happier with Cypress House...the reception and staff in general were extremely helpful and professional while maintaining a "home like" atmosphere. We enjoyed the laid back, quiet property, low key happy hour and breakfast and general relaxed feel of the Inn. The location is... More

My wife and I recently returned from a five night stay at the Cypress House in Key West and thoroughly enjoyed it. Not only is the Cypress House a couple blocks from the nightlife on Duval Street and the sunsets on the waterfront, but it's clean, comfortable and relaxing. Our room was tucked away in a little corner of the... More

Great location, helpful staff, lovely heated pool & comfy rooms. Couldn't ask for anything more - and the absence of children just made it even more enjoyable!! (No children hotel!) great work by Scott & Dennis- thanks for a brilliant stay!

We stayed at Key West for just one night. We booked via internet and found this is a nice place to stay, all sightseeing in walking distance. Very friendly and helpful staff out there. Only parking is a few blocks away

This was our first time in Key West, and at Cypress house. We stayed in Room #5 which was a spacious king bed room with large veranda. It was nicely appointed with a combination of antiques and modern amenities. I loved the huge tub and marble sink! It was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The refreshing pool, outdoor shower and... King Bed comfortable, good wifi, clean room. Breakfast menu changed each day with hot food and breads, etc. Afternoon "liming" with an appetizer and drink. Heated private pool. 1-2 blocks from wharf docks, Duvall Street, Restaurants, and shopping. Management very attentive. We stayed 7 days and enjoyed it.
