good location.the people that work there should go to charm school.this b&b needs some money spent on it.new sheets and pillow cases for sure.maybe some elbow grease in the bathrooms. definatley not worth 200 a night. more

Staff was generally unfriendly and annoying to deal with, room was missing a light bulb, had old low-quality pilled sheets, bathroom door didn't close (dragged on the floor), bathroom small and awkward and had a pre-fab shower instead of a real tiled shower. Very pleased with the douglas house. Was small but cute and cozy. Great location, close to everything. The staff were just the nicest people and very helpful. My only complaints were that the shower leaked water all over the floor and it was a little noisy on weekends. Would stay here again and recomend to friends. more

WHAT A DUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Bad service from front desk, everything seemed like an effort for them.Very dirty rugs...Walls are dirty in the bathroom...yukkkkkk. The blankets need to be washed.Just dirty though out the unit. My room wasnt ready when we got there and was told we could leave of luggage OUTSIDE the doors in the walkway. more

This was our third trip to Key West and our second at a B&B. The suite waqs roomy but dimly lit and dirty. 5 minutes after stepping out of the shower the soles of our feet were black. The location is great, staff is friendly but we won't be returning to this location. more

Had an overnight trip down to Key West. Stopped at Key West Visitors centre that suggested & reserved a one night stop at Douglas House. We read about this hotel & thought we'd give it a try. we really enjoyed our stay. It was very clean, comfortable & homey...We stayed in the room with the loft, and a private balcony overlooking the pond. I will definately stay again. more
