My husband and I stayed at Duval Gardens for two nights after getting off of a 7-day cruise in Ft. Lauderdale. We rented a convertible and made the long, pretty drive down to Key West. We arrived around 6 p.m. and were greeted by Norm, who showed us to our room and told us about some of the local attractions.... more

Duval Gardens is a great place to stay, very friendly, clean, great people working there, always very helpful for anything you may need, great part of Duval Street, walking distance to everything, nice pool. We love the upper room off the front porch, nice place to chill after a long day on the town, or enjoy your morning cup of... more

My husband and I recently spent 3 days here. It was in a perfect location, close enough to walk everywhere but not too noisy at night. The managers, Norm and Christina were very nice and always available if you need anything. The room we chose was basically that, a room and a bathroom. It was clean and nicely decorated. Bed... more

The staff was excellent! The location was great, right on Duval Street and close to both ends of the island and only a block from the Hemingway House and the Key West Lighthouse. It's pretty pricey though for how small the rooms are and the lack of amenities. more

Just checked out this am. The rooms were small but cute. The shower needs the grout scrubbed. I think is was a little pricey there is a lot of vacancies in key west for what should be a busy weekend. We had reservations. The breakfast was average, juice, coffee, bagels, cereal. The mattress was only okay, sagged a bit in... more

We stayed in the Fragnipani Room which is on the first level. Not only was the B&B in a good location, but our room had to be one of the best located in the entire facility. We had two chairs outside of our french doors and also the COLD water cooler. The room faced the pool (which is small, heated,... more

Overall, I very much enjoyed the Duval Gardens. Having been our first time in Key West, we were told to try a bed and breakfast, rather than a resort. I checked out the reviews and asked some questions here on TA and found the Gardens. Good reviews, so I booked. First, the location is great! On the quiet end of... more

We arrived in Key West and hadn't booked, the larger motels were expensive for what you got so we walked down the street and found Duval Gardens. The receptionist was pleasant and we were surprised by the price compared to other places. My husband had never stayed in a B & B and this place has converted him. Duval Gardens... more

This bed and breakfast was perfect~ From the moment we arrived, the smiling Rose @ the desk directed our group to two very romantic, welcoming, softly decorated rooms. Some have sitting areas...upstairs in the back #23...(#24 is nice also, but a bit smaller)...Hand-painted walls in the baths with over-sized shower stalls. Housekeeping staff always keeping up~ Canopy over the bed... more

I also want to say that Christine was super helpful and showed us the layout of the island. It is a great location and the rooms are nice, cool, and well kept. I would recommend Duval Gardens to anyone. My girlfriend and I rented some bicycles and toured the island. This seems to be the easiest to get around the... more
