We enjoyed our weekend stay at the Island House. Front Desk staff were AWESOME. However, the restaurant/Bar personnel were a bit drab. A bit disappointing after encounter the Front personnel. Have stayed at the Island house several times during all times of the year and it is always a great time. The staff are great, friendly, accomodating, and willing to do anythign to make your stay better. The bar and restaurant are open late and serve a great variety of food and drink. IH is always clean and the grounds... more

It didn't matter what I needed, it was at the Island House. Incredible meals, a relaxing massage, a small but complete gym, bicycle rental delivered right to me, and lots of "fun." I've never stayed anywhere like the Island House and I can't wait to go back! more

I've been all over the states, and the world for that matter. Island House is by far the best gay resort I have stayed at. Yes, there may be cheaper places to stay, but you get what you pay for. The rooms are very well appointed, and spotless. The staff are amazing, and nothing is too much trouble for them.... more
