We stayed in the gecko room, and were welcomed by two towel swans on the bed. It was spacious and clean. The room had a small fridge. The bed was comfortable enough but the pillows seen better days. There were only two usable pillows on the bed, the other two were in shams with no pillow cases, all were flat... More

The staff was unfriendly. The breakfast was straight from freezer to patio table, nothing fresh - styrofoam cups for coffee, plastic utensils. Rooms are in the back with no access to the main house - thus no ambiance. Price was outrageous ($240 per night). Will definitely never stay there again. There are way too many other quality places in Key... More

Friendly, clean, close to everything! The manager, Tammy, was very friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff were very nice and considerate. We stayed in the West Indie's room. Bed was extremely comfortable & room size was perfect. Would definitely return next time we are in Key West.

We stayed in hibiscus room, kinds of small but it had what you need, there are bigger rooms though. Very helpful staff and the resident cat Gilbert was very welcoming and will sleep in your room if you let him. Great location, walking distance to Duval St. Free booze from 5-6 was nice way to meet the other guests. Reasonably... More

My husband and I are seasoned travelers, during our travels, we stay at 5- star hotels and resorts worldwide. For our first trip to Key West, we were advised by family and friends to go for "the rustic appeal" and skip the 5-star experience. After much internet researching, we decided to book Garden House, West Indies King room, from September... More

I booked the Writers King room which I found to be very affordable considering other rooms close to Duval St were priced at $350-500/night. I did not expect much at the price I paid for our room. However I was pleasantly surprised. The garden house itself is very cute. It's small which I expected but it's charming. Our room had... More

Key West is expensive! We planned this trip before realizing we would be heading into spring break season. Hotels averaged around $400, so I looked at B&B's. This is not the traditional style B&B like you would find down South with a full breakfast and a host ready to regale you with stories. There is a continental breakfast served by... More

Perfect location, close to Duvall Street and beaches. Our room was small, but very comfortable and clean. Great value for the $!!! The B&B provides a light breakfast every morning and a happy hour in the afternoon. This was a great time to socialize with other guests from all over the world. We enjoyed the grounds and the small pool... More
