My husband and I recently stayed at the Lighthouse Course for 2 nights. We were in C5 (standard room). If I could give this hotel a rating between Average and Very Good for "Good", I would. PROS - great location, smooth early check in with a complimentary cocktail while we waited, quiet, clean, quick response time, free continental breakfast. CONS... More

We stay one night and we were very satisfied. A beautifull setting, nice small pool with a bar. We take the time to relax before exploring the city. Very well located, in the middle of the historical district. We enjoyed our stay and wouid like to go back! Thanks to the staff!

This was a last minute getaway. Check in was a breeze. We stayed for 5 nights in king suite which had a sitting room seperate from the bedroom, it also had a porch area which was nice to sit out in the morning with a cup of coffee. The pool area was nice and had plenty of loungers as well as... More

Extremely small room, noisy air-conditioner, and uncomfortable beds/pillows! It is a shame that the concept of bed and breakfasts have expanded to include any house with rooms. I will probably go back to staying at chain hotels where I have a pillow-top mattress and standard room sizes. Only pluses were the staff, very friendly, and the room was clean.

Hello JKF, We're glad you enjoyed our friendly and helpful staff! Whilst we offer a nice complimentary continental breakfast daily in the courtyard for our guests, we do not classify ourselves as a Bed & Breakfast. The Lighthouse Court Hotel is a member of the Historic Key West Inns collection of small hotels on the island. We offer a range... More

All-in-all, this is a beautiful property. It is well maintained and relaxing. The continental breakfast is typical but the coffee is awesome. Nice having a bar near the pool. What could be improved on is the small room sizes. Ours had no closet but, we were offered another with a closet. I would certainly stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights. We love visiting key west, and have had great luck with the historic key west inns. We loved the lighthouse court. The parking situation was great at the hotel, not able to move your car much , but no need to when in key west. We will for sure... More

The Lighthouse Court Inn is located across the street from the Hemenway House and 1 block off Duval Street, which is close to the action but far away enough for some quiet and R&R. We stayed in the 2 level, 2 bed loft suite, which was clean and roomy with adorandeck chairs right outside the doors. The staff are all... More

As a non-beach loving, fair skinned red-head, I was apprehensive and did not share my husband's enthusiasm about taking a holiday to Key West this year. But needing a break from the "real-world" he made reservations & we made plans to go for 6 days including Memorial Day weekend. Key West is not inexpensive & the "hotels" range from simplistic... We stayed at Lighthouse Court for one night in May. It was so quaint! The room was small but had everything that we need for the night. The reception desk personnel were great and so was Pete, our server in the bar. The pool was small but very refreshing. Breakfast consisted of cereals, bagesl with assorted spreads, cofee, tea, OJ.... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Lighthouse Court is one of five hotels in the Historic Key West Inns collection and is located next door to the Key West Lighthouse Museum and across the street from the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum. Forty guestrooms are spread out within ten buildings, creating a spacious and relaxing environment. Buildings are separated by brick pathways, tropical landscaping, and decked courtyards. The grounds provide many comfortable spots for lounging, sunning, or gazing up at the lighthouse. Guests can relax around the large pool in the main courtyard while sipping on tropical drinks from the pool bar. Just one block off Duval Street, the location affords instant access to some of our favorite things to do in Key West including the Mallory Square sunset celebration, Sloppy Joe’s Bar & Margaritaville. ... more   less
