The Mermaid and the Alligator is a piece of heaven...absolutely perfect in every way! The house is incredibly beautiful and the rooms are so inviting! Staff was incredibly welcoming, accommodating and helpful. Grounds are lovely. Rooms are spotless. The dogs make it feel like home and are not the least bit bothersome!! Staff knows everything about KW and booked the best activities for us. I never want to stay in a regular hotel again!

The Mermaid and the Alligator is one of the best guesthouses I have ever visited, anywhere in the U.S. and Europe. The accomodations were well-appointed and comfortable (luxurious, in fact), the staff were exceptionally helpful, and the breakfasts were delicious and different each day.

Beatiful property a turn of the century home. Clean, quite, comfortable with plush furnishings. On sight parking was a big plus for us. The grounds are tropical with a small pool. The morning breakfast was a great way to start your day. Jerry & staff were friendly & helpful. We stayed in the Audubon Room 3 nights

A beautiful B & B. The grounds are phenomenal and we had a hot breakfast each morning in a beautiful garden. The staff was so helpful and were responsive to our every need. The rooms were lovely and had the perfect linens. I would recommend this beautiful place to anyone planning a trip to Key West.
