The name of the Ambrosia Inn is an apt description for this lovely Inn. It was the epitome of old world elegance and absolutely charmed us to the core. Every hotel could take a lesson in "how to treat your guests" from the wonderful staff here! They were terrific! I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else when I come to Key... More

We stayed in the house that is on the Key West Historical registry (615 Fleming Street). What a treat. This accommodation is a breath of fresh air. Once we paid for our room, everything else was taken care of. Bug bite? They gave us lotion. Tan? They provided tanning oil. Boarding pass? They got it for me. Email home? Wifi... More

We absolutely loved it. The staff was freiendly, courteous and efficent. Rooms were always clean and well-appointed, as were the grounds and amenities. Breakfast was complete and fresh. Owners knew everything about Key West. We'd come back in a minute......and need to spend lots more time next visit. More

My wife and I had a long weekend down at Ambrosia and had a great time. Lexi gave us great tips on everything -- from a our fishing trip (bonefishingkeywest.com) to dinner to quirky fun at drag queen bingo. Whatever you're in the mood for, they'll connect you to good places. More

We just returned from spending a week at the Ambrosia in Key West. I would highly recommend it. We were booked in the Havana Cabana. It was clean and nicely decorated. The staff throughout the facility were friendly and helpful. The breakfast served pool side each morning was fresh, warm, varied and delicious. I wouldn't hesitate recommending the Ambrosia and... I'm so glad we chose Ambrosia for our first trip to the Keys! The excellent location near Duval St. along with the serene, tranquil atmosphere of the place gave us the best of both worlds during our stay. The staff was extremely helpful and did a wonderful job of maintaining the rooms and facilities. We enjoyed the extensive breakfast by... More

My wife and I had a wonderful time staying at Ambrosia Key West. Our suite was even more spacious than the photos suggested, very clean, and attractively decorated. It felt homier and more comfortable than a typical hotel. Our particular suite, the Sailfish, was tucked away and quite private. It's in an old building with slightly creaky AC, but that... More

Ignore the 5 star reviews. I went by those and was disappointed. The detailed 2 to 3 star ones are closer to the mark. Those tell you what you need to know. There's a reason the breakfast isn't advertised. It is very minimal and more of an afterthought. Our room was ok but the ac unit needs a good filter... More

First thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We realize we can not please everyone. Key West can be a very expensive destination, depending on whether it is high or low season. Regarding our breakfast, we believe it is the best complimentary buffet on the island. Included in our Buffet is fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, Biscuits... More

Thanks for the review. Breakfast(see response above for itemized list) considered renowned. A/C has been inspected and appears normal, perhaps not as common in the UK. Lack of Attention: We leave you alone unless you approach us. We found guest normally appreciate this. Key West trash service is twice a week. WIndows: building is circa 1890 and it is illegal... Just back from a great trip to KW with my husband and 1 year old puppy, Max. It was Max's 1st trip to KW and we stayed at Ambrosia based on the reviews on TA. Max was so welcome everywhere on the property, the hot tub area, the pool area and at breakfast. The room was great (Captains Quarters), It... More
