NO parking available. Door opened onto street, broken windows, TINY room, door clunked into a dresser, no place to put clothes, bathroom door clunked into nightstand, bed was HORRIBLE, like straw! There is NO charm nothing quaint about this DUMP! And is was extremely expensive to boot. We canceled our second night there and got a refund! DON'T even think... More

In the game of polo there is an 'intermission' where they invite spectators to take part in the 'stomping of the divits' to fill in the holes on the playing field. That being said, if my husband and I were Polo players, we could have engaged in some 'divet stomping' right on the mattress at the Budget Key West hotel!... More

Absolutely WONDERFUL hotel in the Key West historical area! CLEAN rooms with kitchenettes, huge shower! No pool but we went there to go snorkeling so it wasen't a big deal. Nice walk to Duval St. Really got face to face with the REAL Key West! Nice veranda. Good price considering it was April. We took the ferry from Ft Myers... More

I was very disappointed...the exhaust fan...was out in the bathroom and either the drained was backed up or it was mold. The stench was so bad we could not even leave the bathroom door open and certainly could not stand the smell when taking a shower without gagging. We did bring this to the front desk attention and they said... More

Sure doesn't look like the pics on Orbitz or Hotels.com. Cleanliness was a serious issue. Smelled stale and smokey even though it is supposed to be a non-smoking hotel. Mold in the shower and on bathroom floor tiles. Carpet was very sticky-would not go bare foot for sure. Bedding and towels were clean. Staff's response was that this is Florida... More

We just returned from a 10 day stay in Key West. We stayed at Budget Key West. It definately exceeded my expectations for the price we paid (about 99/night). Outside of the room is a sitting area with 2 chairs, a table, and an ashtray if you need it. This was a good area to store bikes if you rented... More

This property is clean, comfortable and has a decent location for adults not planning to drive much. The front desk people aren't very personable and finding an on-street parking spot is more than challenging during peak times. It's located close to the old Seaport (aka Key West Bight) and a reasonable stroll to Duval Street. The Bight has several good... More

If you stay here, definitely rent a bike! It's about a 15 minute walk just to get to Duval Street. Granted, that's not much, but in the heat and humidity of Key West, it feels like a lot. I'm not kidding: renting a bike on my second day improved my stay dramatically. Just riding around the back streets gave me... More
