A couple friends and I spent a few nights in the hotel section a few weeks ago. All we needed was a shower and a bed at the end of the night. We were too busy out having fun in Key West to spend any more time than that in the room. The room was clean, everything was in working... More

To say the most important first: in my opinion it's not as bad as some people say here. I stayed in Key West for just one night and booked here because it seems to be the only hostel in the city. $44 is a lot for just a hostel bed, but as all hotels in Key West are quite expensive... More

I've stayed in hostels all over the world. This one lacks all character and accommodation. We booked online through Travelocity..only to arrive and find they didn't have the room we booked. As the reservation is non refundable, we stayed in the room they gave us: room 14. It was a horrible box of a place. We tried to contact Travelocity,... More

Male manger walked into female dorm without knocking. Staff were not efficient. They had attitudes. Requests to clean were not often met. Bathrooms were dirty. Kitchen was dirty. Male guests were loud and drunk at. 5 am. Positive: other female guests.

It's an ok hostel. You won't find a lot of social gathering as it is small but it's an ok place to stay. The staff is helpful and the bed was clean. The bathroom gets a little bit wet but it's more than bearable. Don't expect a 4 stars but it's not as bad as some people described. For a... More

I was here in 1974, back than you needed an "International Youth Hostel" membership card, NOT nowadays. Am a Florida resident, it was 39. +tax . It is perfect for me who travels alone and only need a place to sleep and shower. My car was parked across the street, for free, and I leave it there cause in Key... More

Sure, hotel rooms in the area are expensive, but $50 for a night at this hostel was about 3 times too much. One tiny bathroom (maybe 4' x 5'? My arms touched all walls from standing at the toilet/shower...) in a room for 10 people. And, my pet peeve - the shower has no pan or anything else to keep... More

A really horrible place, shabby rooms. One of the worst price performance ratios I ever had. Unfriendly staff. I booked by telephone a room for two adults and a child. Surprisingly during the check in nobody could remember. Clear no go area for me in future.

Came for a bachelor party so we weren't in the room too long. Hard to sleep with the leaky faucet and shower dripping all night. The bed was lumpy/hard and just all around awful. The bathroom floor was sticky and rather gross. The only up side was the close proximity to the bars and Duval street.

My friends and I stayed here recently and it was a pretty bare bones place. I wasn't expecting a lot, but it was pretty tiny. We had two double beds, which were sufficient, but the problem was the shower. The shower had no water pressure and it was pretty useless to try and get clean. Other than that, the accommodations...
