I think you should be outdoors having fun in Key West while you are there. If this is your motto too then this hotel is fine. It is a bed with A/C, TV & a bathroom and that is it. The mattress and pillows sealed in plastic under the sheets which is a little loud and annoying but at least... more

If you are low on budget, this is definetly a good hostel! We were kind of afraid that it would be a disaster after all the reviews but where pleasently surprised after we arrived! We were a bit early (check in after 2.30PM) so we walked to Duval Street to have something to eat and drink.. I would say it's... more

We came for only one night, but were surprised in a good way! THe location of the motel is good; seashell is litterally 5 minutes from Duval Street riding. It is a nice neighbourhood also! We rented at the motel bicycles and we enjoyed every minute of it. The manager is very nice, warm and helpful. He takes care of... more

Some good things - lots of rooms and great location. Some bad things - no contact with office after 9:00 pm (so how do you get the computer key?) or resolve a problem. Clearly they state "no alcohol" but who's to regulate that? Was there on 'spring break' and many of the younger hosteler were drunk.. lol.. but still very... more

I booked a night in the hostel by mail and they asked for the total fare at the time of the reservation with no chances of refund! This happened over a month before the arrival date! Speaking of the rooms, they were very much decent, only problem was that there was 1 toilet and 1 shower for 12 people because... more

This was the cheapest place I could find on-line for an impromptu trip down to Key West last week. If I had waited until I arrived, and been willing to go from hotel to hotel, or use the coupons in those hotel coupon books I probably could have done better than $129/night at a better place. The room was very... more

My Experiences dates back to Nov-2003 but it is still very present in my mind as this was the worst accomodation I ever had im my (many) years travelling. We had to seperate for the first night (my wife in the ladies dorm and myself in the mens dorm) and then had the second night in a mixed dorm. The... more

My experience dates back to January 2007 and it was not really nice.Key West was the last leg of my trip to Florida in December 2006/January 2007. We spent 2 nights in one of the motel rooms and it was awful, to say the least. I was longing to go away from the moment we stepped into the room. Plastic... more

After confirming a reservation over the phone with a woman who worked at the motel, a manager by the name of Matt would not honor my reservation. I arrived at the motel on time at about 8:10pm but there was a note on the office window saying they closed an hour early that night. The office is normally scheduled to... more
