The walls are thin, and there is a lot of noise at night. The noise comes from other rooms where drunk people reside as well as from the Harbor Walk (boardwalk), which is close to the hotel where drunk people walk around at night. The Galleon is the best place to stay in Key West, though if you are going to stay there, I recommend the Marina side. You get to see and hear it all. They have everything in walking distance that you could ever want to do. more

We had one of the penthouse suites. The issue with the Galleon Resort was that the front desk staff were very rude and unhelpfull with just about every request. stayed in a "lockout" in E bldg,,,,rented from an indiviual...everything excellant, surprised we got dialy linen service on a weekly rental,,,everything up-to-date, kitchennette nice,,,hated only the low pressure showere heads...pool and staff were good,,views were amazing....can't imagine a better value on the island! more
