I had never been to Key West, nor stayed at a bed and breakfast. This place was perfect for my husband and I. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the grounds beautiful. We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was considering the location right on Duval St. We didn't hear any noise from our room. The room rates... More

What a pleasant surprise was the Duval House! Located right in the heart of Key West and amidst the hustle and bustle of Duval Street is a large, lovely B&B with individual rooms with private baths. Ours was located at the back of the garden next to the breakfast room. We slept through breakfast the first morning and weren't even... More

We booked via Groupon and assumed that a cabana room was probably the smallest on property. While a small room, it was very light and bright and and everything you need while in Key West. We enjoyed the pool which was empty most of the days we visited and the garden was very nice. We also enjoyed visiting with Cayo... More

Cayo had a blast with you, Kirby! :) So glad you were happy with your stay, and I do hope you'll swing back by next time you make it down to Key West. Travel safe out there, and we'll see you again soon. Cheers! More

Booked 6 night stay over internet for balcony deluxe room in Nov. After confirming with office via phone on scheduled day of arrival we would arrive 6pm and our request for balcony room, we arrived and were told we could not have balcony because 1.) reservations made via website do not differentiate between balcony or veranda rooms and 2.) preference... The Duval house is perfectly located, in the middle of all the action - with rooms far enough off the street, that its quiet and peaceful.Surrounded in a lush tropical garden. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms clean and updated and comfy. And breakfast is really well done. We will definitely stay here again.

This B&B was excellent and we would stay here again. I feel that the price is too much, but all the B&B's on Duval Street are a little pricey. Location is excellent. The staff is friendly and very helpful . . . they called for cabs and made our dinner cruise reservation for us so we just had to show... More

Nice bed and breakfast experience. Gorgeous gardens, great location, friendly service. We did have one of the rooms on the street, but the noise level was only an issue in the morning (street sweepers, garbage trucks, etc.) and we could easily mask the noise with a fan (provided in room). We enjoyed taking a break from our sight-seeing by sitting... More

So glad you're a fan of our spot! We're glad that fan did the trick for you on the noise front -- we'd hate for that to interfere with a comfortable stay. :) I really appreciate the kind words here, and I know the rest of the team will as well when I forward them along. Cheers, More

After driving for 8 hours, it was so refreshing to be met by two lovely receptionists. Having read other reviews I was so afraid we would get a noisy room. Well, the truth about the Duval House is that there are only 4 out of 28 rooms facing the street. The majority of rooms are tastefully hidden from the road... More

Reservations made via my friend's recommendation; the location, atmosphere, and staff made our stay there memorable. The staff were very helpful and sensitive to our needs. The location was just right for walking to wherever we wanted to go during our stay.
