Property manager was excellent, location of condo was great, condo was clean, would definitely stay here again. No pool on premises - you have to walk to it, which seemed far. Would have been nice for the kids. We loved sitting on the balcony.

Our group was in agreement, Cuban Club Suites is an excellent accommodation choice for Key West. It is conveniently located and is beautiful. The patio gave us a great vantage point to people watch and a great place to relax. The only qualm we had is that the wi-fi was not working and although the management company said they would... On the quiet end of Duval St. made this a great location spot. The balcony was perfect for relaxing and watchng the crowds. Had a few small problems with unit - ants in the kitchen, A/C couldn't keep unit cool had to use ceiling fans, one roach in living room area (this is tropics). Biggest disappointment was no pools as... More

The Douglas House manages this adjacent property - The Cuban Club - which are split-level condos. They need a lot of work! I hope the accomodations at the Douglas House are better but DO NOT stay at the Cuban Club! Each bed has a "dip" in it and needs to be replaced; hot water and shower head are not adequate;... More

We have recently returned from Key West. We stayed at the Cuban Club Suites. We loved our condo; it had all the conveniences of home. The condo was clean and comfortable. The balcony overlooking Duval Street was a great place to start your day with morning coffee and the perfect way to end the day with a night libation. The... More

My husband and I and a group of our friends were looking for a vaction place for his 50th birthday. We found it in Key West at the Cuban Club! Considering other places on Duval street we have stayed, this was a palace. We've stayed here 3 years and am looking forward to going back this December 2008. The staff... More

If you are looking for a home away from home in a great part of Key West, the Cuban Club Suites is the place to go. It is spacious and if you have a group of people . . . the price is better than going with individual hotel rooms. There is a pool next door that is nice but... More

This review has been a long time coming... We stayed in 2004, so I can't imagine that a lot has changed. We were going to stay there this Spring, but decided to try Puerto Rico. We had two couples staying at the Cuban Club, it was a great layout with two full bedrooms and bathrooms, on two floors. So, you... More

Stayed here with my mom in November of 2006 - we moved here after not being happy with our room at the Douglas House (it's the hotel next door, and they manage the Cuban Club, plus, I think, a few other places, too). This review really covers both places since they share amenities (like the pool) and are in similar... More

The short review: Not Recommended: Pros: Location, room size, full kitchen, charm and character Cons: Smelly and cheap indoor/outdoor carpeting, no pool on-site, miserable Continental breakfast, uninterested staff The longer-winded version: My wife and I travel to KW annually with friends of ours, so we usually rent 2/2 apartments or condos, which can be somewhat hard to find. The room... More
