I started coming for the scuba diving. Retired Army and like staying on a base and having guards on the gates.... sleep better at night. PX has small items and reasonably priced. Can't beat these rates and keeps me coming back. Rooms are clean and water is hot,, most you meet are also retired so a few war stories are... More

We were looking for a modest hotel to stay in for a 3 day weekend. This place was $99 a night with a full kitchen. It was very clean and the help was super friendly. It is located about 10 minutes by car to Duval street with shopping and restaurants. But we found that the on post Sunset Lounge to... More

We were able to get a few days here while we were in Key West; it was quiet and peaceful during our stay. I especially like my morning coffee as I watched the boats go by; we were very close to the water. Most definitely we will return.

The front desk was very helpful. The room was very clean. It included a kitchen with microwave and refrig. Tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable with nice linens. Coffee in your room. The front desk had yogart, muffin and breakfast bars. Enough to do. It is a nice peaceful place. I would stay there again. It was easy to get... More

Nice facility. Big rooms. Spotless. Great value. But - we were there Sunday and Monday night. There is no place for breakfast. There is no place at all to eat on Monday. Wish we had been told that when we made the reservation. Yes, we could go off the base. Who jibes they would have a lock-down at 9 am?... More

I truly appreciate your positive review of the Navy Lodge Key West facility. You happenned to visit during the very necessary annual military training exercise, when several different senerios are presented to the bases to ensure our condition of readiness is on point. These exercises are sent from the region and our base command sends out the orders to the... More

We were here just one night to say we had made the Key West Scene. The Navy Lodge was a nice retreat from the downtown party crowd. Room clean and comfortable. Nice that Navy has this for "old soldiers".

OK - Navy Lodge is no frills as other writer suggests. That said, you will find a peaceful, clean, secure, and comfortable accommodation just a few miles (thankfully?) from Duval street and all it has to offer (read that as you may) after the sun goes down. Yeah, breakfast is a bit spartan and there are no mints on the... More

We were guests of a friend (retired Naval officer) who was able to book us here for one night before a very early flight out of Key West. Spotlessly clean, great air conditioning, comfy bed, mini-kitchen. This beats the chain hotels by a mile! We called a cab to take us into Key West for dinner and the driver said... More
