We stayed for 4 nights in suite 13 and it is really good. Giant bed, loads of space with private balcony and a few steps from the great warm spa pool. Staff really nice and breakfast good. Only downside in this room is tge noise from upstairs. If they drop something in the night it sounds like a gun shot... More

We stayed in Room 17. It was a king suite and it was perfect! Plenty of room. Perfect distance from Duval St. We walked everywhere. Parking was tricky be we got lucky getting a spot right next to our room. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!!

The Merlin Guesthouse is a quiet oasis in the middle of busy Key West. The private grounds are beautifully landscaped with tropical plants, and there are lounge chairs, a hammock, and a small pool scattered around, perfect for relaxing. We opted for a Deluxe King Room and are so glad we did. Our room (# 11) was spacious, comfortable, and... More

This place is very cozy and it's near to almost everywhere you need to go in Key West. The staffs are super friendly and helpful to us as well. I would highly recommend you to stay at Merlin Guesthouse!!! Also, they offer free breakfast, wifi, parking and jacuzzi. If I ever go to Key west again, I would definitely stay... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful weekend. We were in room - suite - 16, back off the street with a short walk through the garden and up a flight of stairs to a private balcony. The suite included a refrigerator and a Keurig as well. The mattress is firm and the water... More

My daughter and I liked this place because we felt safe on the short walk back from Duval at night. It's on Simonton and far enough away from the noise. Parking is free for guests on Petronia; continental breakfast included. The patio/breakfast area is lovely. We had a quiet little room with a porch that faced the interior of the... More

Hotel was very pleasant! Visited for three nights with my boyfriend and thoroughly enjoyed the location and hotel staff. We resided in Room 16; very spacious and quiet (Included its own private porch with a short walk up a staircase). I recommend spending the extra money to stay in a king sized suite. I'm a very light sleeper and was... More

Hotel was okay. It is literally 1 block off Duval and all that is happening. The room was just okay. They said it was just renovated. The hardwood floors were very nice and it looks like new furniture. The TV is TINY-maybe 17 or 19 inches and very far away from the bed. The bathroom has only a shower. For... More

Came with Inlaws, and having the one bedroom cottage has been great as it gave us space and privacy. Did I mention the stocked Keurig? The place is impeccable, the pool right outside our room in a very nice setting. The location is perfect. Walking distance to everything. This place is perfect if you are traveling with family and you... More

We like to support historic properties wherever we can -- and so glad we did in Key West too! So much character -- excellent location! Our room (#16) was a lovely, large room up the stairs -- split living and sleeping areas. Breakfast is by the little pool -- continental style which is just right given the heat & humid... More
