Hotel was okay. It is literally 1 block off Duval and all that is happening. The room was just okay. They said it was just renovated. The hardwood floors were very nice and it looks like new furniture. The TV is TINY-maybe 17 or 19 inches and very far away from the bed. The bathroom has only a shower. For... More

Came with Inlaws, and having the one bedroom cottage has been great as it gave us space and privacy. Did I mention the stocked Keurig? The place is impeccable, the pool right outside our room in a very nice setting. The location is perfect. Walking distance to everything. This place is perfect if you are traveling with family and you... More

We like to support historic properties wherever we can -- and so glad we did in Key West too! So much character -- excellent location! Our room (#16) was a lovely, large room up the stairs -- split living and sleeping areas. Breakfast is by the little pool -- continental style which is just right given the heat & humid... More

We were fortunate to stay with another couple in one of the two bedroom cottages for a three day stay. Although not advertised with a kitchen, we had a very nice one! It is our understanding that the two bedroom cottages are not equal so it is just a bonus if you get the front cottage. Nonetheless, we had no... More

We usually like to stay at B&B's since there is usually a little more charm than in large hotels. There are not that many in Key West and our eye was caught by the price and the location of this guest house. It is not a true B&B since there are 22 rooms spread over the property; six small rooms... More

My husband and I traveled to Key west for a weekend to watch the international powerboat races. I had booked a hotel but upon arrival realized I had booked the wrong dates!!! The hotel tried to find us other options but to no avail. By chance, we walked into the Merlin Guesthouse to use a telephone. Kim at the front... More

We stayed in a room at the back of the property. Quiet and away from street noise. It was perfect, spacious, modern, and a great location. Easy walk to Duval, Higgs beach and Key West sightseeing. Included Breakfast was just right, cereal, fresh muffins, bagels, oatmeal and fruit. Lots of coffee and a Keurig in the room. We would go... More

I had read several reviews concerning rooms that faced the street but luckily we were in the back, room #10, and had no problem with the noise. The accommodations while being small were adequate, clean, and refreshing. We were 1 block from Duval St so the location was great. The pool was refreshing, although small, and there were jets to... This place is walking distance from just about everything making it perfect. The staff is all really nice and they even upgraded us because it was our honeymoon and they had the space. The room we would have had was nice just smaller. The room we ended up in was really nice and offered more space to move around in.... More

We stayed here Oct 17th - Oct 21. First of all, the staff is great. Everyone was very friendly & helpful. The rooms are a bit primitive, but nice & clean & who cares, your in Key West. It is located a block or 2 from Duval St. where all the action is. We were able to walk everywhere from... More
