This guesthouse is a great place to stay while enjoying Key West. There is a wide variety of rooms. We stayed in one of the small rooms on the front porch. It was very clean and neat. There is a heated soaker pool which was heavenly after walking Duval Street. The location is close to Duval St and they have... More

Did not book but not a problem with getting a room. The owner was very friendly and when he showed us the room, there was no way were we not staying here. It was like a 1 bedroom flat with a living room, raised bed area and bathroom all very well equipped. The outside decking area and large Jacuzzi pool,... More

Great Little Hideaway!!! This place was close to Duval, but far enough as to not hear the noise of Duval!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place was well kept, clean and modern. Will definitely stay here again!!

We recently spent 6 days in Key West and stayed at the Merlin Guesthouse. Now this place is NOT poshy fancy BUT in every way was even better than that... the courtyard is very sweet shady and tropical and we spent a few late nights having a nightcap there just soaking up the nice weather trying hard not to let... Clean and comfortable, fantastic location within walking distance to all the Duvall attractions yet located in a quiet neighborhood. Staff was attentive and friendly. Continental breakfast was good and there was adequate selection. Would definitely stay again if traveling to Key West.

We're glad that you loved the cleanliness of your room and the location of the Merlin Guesthouse. The Economy Queen rooms ARE fairly cozy in size and priced accordingly. We also offer more spacious accommodations including King Suites and cottages for those desiring larger places to stay. There's something for everyone! More

The Merlin Guesthouse was an Great place for us to get away from the Hustle and Bustle of the big city! With its central location, just a block from the heart of Duval Street. It is within walking distance of practically all the attractions and bars of downtown Key West! Look forward to our next trip down!

The location of this property is fabulous. It's 1 block off Duvall Street and 4 blocks from the beach. There are only about 25 or so rooms at this property, which we really liked. The room that we stayed in (#3) was located at the front of the property which is on Simonton Street. It's not THAT noisy, but there... More
