This hotel is absolutely wonderful. It is within two blocks of Duval Street yet quiet and relaxing. The staff are very accommodating, the rooms are very well maintained, and the grounds are beautiful. We were upgraded to a suite, but all the rooms seemed quite nice. We walked everywhere as the location was so good. We would definitely recommend this... more

I just came back (very reluctantly) from my stay at The Marquesa Hotel in Key West. This is a luxury bed & breakfast type hotel in true Key West style. The "hotel" is immaculately clean and quite beautiful. All the rooms are furnished elegantly and stylish (nothing garish here). The foliage by the two pools are stunning. They have two... more

The staff was truly committed to ensuring that our accomodations and our trip in general was perfect. The hotel is lovely and centrally located and no kids under 16. The restaurant had excellent food and an efficiant, pleasant wait staff. I would definitely stay there again. more

We had a wonderful stay at the Marquesa Hotel in May 2009. The hotel is situated two blocks off Duval (the main thoroughfare), which was a very convenient location for getting anywhere on the island. We stayed in a poolside standard room on the second level. The hotel was very quiet and felt very private, despite being located in the... more

We spent 3 nights at the Marquesa in a junior suite, located in the newer back part of the property, behind the pool. The room was very pretty and spacious with king bed, sitting area and covered porch and in like new condition. The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. Upon arrival we were offered a welcome glass of... more

My husband and I just recently spent a long weekend at the Marquesa Hotel in Key West. It has a great location, just 2 blocks off the main drag of Duval Street, but feels miles away in an oasis of quiet. The hotel is sort of a compound of houses that has grown around the original property; there are 2... more

Checked in for 6 nights. Had a beautiful suite. The room was perfect EXCEPT for: 1. The people at 11:30pm with beer bottles in the pool having sex. I called the manager. They even had a boombox screaming poolside. I'd expext this at Best western Hibiscis but not at Marquesa. 2. A 6:45am phone call. It was room service calling... more

While much of Key West is catering now to the cruise ship business and has become more and more honky-tonk, this lovely hotel retains the former charm and quaintness of Key West in an upscale fashion. The staff are all lovely; the grounds are beautiful; the rooms are sumptuous, and the hotel is centrally located. My partner and I had... more

From the moment we entered the front door we knew we had made the right choice. Sean greeted us and was helpful with not only restaurant choices but things to see and do. Cannot wait to return more
