I stayed at Gilbert's resort for several days with my dog and my cat. Gilbert's resort is a self-contained island of paradaise. The restaurant is open 7 days a week. Don't let the "resort" in the title fool you. This is a MOTEL, plain and simple. The "marina" is simply a dock for those with boats. The Tike Bar was the best part about it!! The room smelled so bad of bleach. We spent all our time in the tike bar because the room was horrible. We left the next day and got our money back!!! more
