We usually stay at Atlantic Bay when we go to the Keys but they were booked for lobster season. We were lucky to be referred to Coconut Bay in Key Largo. The grounds are meticulous and the vibe is old Florida Keys. Our room was spacious and clean and had a full kitchen. The view of the Bay is terrific... More

Stayed for 3 nights whilst on touring holiday of Florida with husband & 2 teenage daughters. Location easy to find on main road through Key Largo but once you pull into the tropical grounds it's so quiet. Lovely secluded jetty area with small beach & also a swimming pool. Free use of pedalos & kayaks. Owner makes scones for guests... More

Probably my most favorite hotel ever! The staff was so nice and helpful. They went completely out of their way to make sure they made scones that where free of everything I was allergic to. So thoughtful!!! The room was very nice and so clean. We stayed in #16. We loved the nice large tiled shower and they made sure... More

I want to get the word out on Coconut Bay Resort. But then again, if I tell you all about it I may have to hurt you. :) This is a gem; perhaps a hidden one; perhaps not. But in any case, we want our room back when we return next year so I will tell you about this place... More

We stayed 2 nights and were charmed by this resort. Well presented, clean and tidy and just what we wanted. Next to the sea with fab views. Staff very friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 14 which had 1 bed and 1 bed sofa, air con and fans. Beds were v comfortable. Jet ski hire 30 seconds up the... More

We wanted a small, clean cottage by the water in Key Largo - quiet and peaceful but near stores and restaurants - and Coconut Bay hit the mark. We stayed here for a full week to escape NJ's freezing temps and honestly I don't think we could have picked a better spot. We stayed in cottage #1 - I think... More

Because we have a pet, and because this was a special booking to celebrate my husband's birthday, I called Coconut Bay Resort directly to obtain true availability during high season, pet charges, and an accurate description of the rooms that accept dogs. The woman I spoke to on the phone was doing a number of things as she took my... More

We stayed here for three nights during our trip to The Keys. Of all our places we stayed this was by far the best. We were greated on arrival with warmth and made to feel very welcome. The accommodation was very basic but clean, but the surroundings absolutely breathtaking. We were very fortunate with our weather and so enjoyed our... More

This was a fantastic find. Most of the places we stayed in Florida, we found using the tourist information centres. Traveled to here from Key West as the next afternoon we were catching cruise out of Miami. Staff here were excellent and friendly. They have rooms and cabins. We got a 1 bedroom cabin with kitchen (which we didnt use)... More

Stayed for 3 nights on our way back to Miami airport. Nice lodge with fridge and coffee making facilities (don't forget your filter coffee). Free coffee and scones which was a bonus from 8-11. Garden and surrounding grounds are well looked after. Staff friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we did not have particularly good weather, so could not take advantage of... More
