My wife and I stayed at Tarpon Flats Inn on our last night in Florida before heading home. She did her research and picked Tarpon Flats Inn based on previous reviews. We arrived early on our last day and wanted to get out and see Key Largo. We were warmly greeted by one of the men who stays on his... More

We really enjoyed our stay in the Bonefish and Jungle rooms in January. The rooms were different but both were comfortable and clean, with the jungle room being slightly more up to date. We liked the 2nd level Bonefish room for the view, privacy, dishwasher and we enjoyed sitting out on the porch relaxing and reading. The main floor jungle... More

Small inn right on the water. Unfortunately no easy swim access as the shoreline was rocky. Room was large, clean but dated. Free kayaking off the dock was a lovely bonus. Sat in the chairs on the beach and watched a manatee feeding and the an amazing sunset.

We didn't want to stay somewhere run of the mill for our first visit to the Keys and we loved Tarpon Flats. I agree with some other reviews that the furniture is a bit dark and dated, but we planned on spending most of our time outside, so didn't worry about that. The barbecue and kitchen had everything we needed... More

First off, I generally do not like bed and breakfasts, preferring hotels or specialty lodgings. Despite not serving breakfast, this place sparked an unpleasant bed and breakfast feel with me. The Bonefish room was drab, dated, and presented little evidence of being cleaned. The decor, while quite old and worn, may have been considered "classic" by some. There was a... More

Never felt so welcome. The manager Gilda was a delight ! Clean and well kept furniture. Will stay there again and would highly recommend. Love that kayak is free and the bicycles. The pool was clean and they even have a BBQ for us to use. Also love that the grocery store is close by so we bought food and... More

We stayed at this inn for three nights and everything was perfect. Our room had lots of charm and very clean and tidy. The beach with hammock and chair was just great. Very quiet and a true pleasure. We will definitely return. Oh! and pet friendly also!!!

We stayed here for two nights and it was perfect. The staff, Rose, was exceptional and made our stay a true pleasure. She spent time with us recommending all the local places of interest, activities, sights and great restaurant selections, as well as checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We stayed on the first... More

This is the second time we've stayed at Tarpon Flats. First, the place is clean and very charming. Rose checked us in and she was nice and helpful. The owner (wife) was not nearly as friendly but she seemed distracted by the phone each time we saw her. For boaters, there is extremely easy access from ramps at Pennecamp and... More

We stayed here following a night at Key West. We arrived early afternoon and Gilda showed us around the property. She was extremely helpful and funny. We were made to feel so welcome unlike the previous nights accomodation! We were lucky enough to have a ground floor room which was spotlessly clean with a good bathroom, living accomodation and kitchen... More
