We stayed here 2 nights while diving with Key Largo Dive. There were 12 of us so we had 6 rooms. Some rooms were really small with barely two beds in them while others, like ours had plenty of space with a couch and even a kitchen. We were the lucky pair! Real nice that they have a continental breakfast... More

I am not the kind of person who likes to give a bad review, but I have to be honest. This place was a little disappointing. I don't mind an older cottage style hotel. In fact this place would have been acceptable if the bed were comfortable. The room was small but fairly clean, the cottages out-dated, the water pressure... More

We booked this place via a recommendation from a local dive centre and found it a great place to stay if you want a quiet break. The rooms are cleaned every day and were fine. We were able to park outside our room which was a short walk to the breakfast area. Kayaks are also available to borrow free of... More

We only stayed one night at the Pelican but it is the kind of place you could stay for a week or more. There are individual Old Florida style cottages and communal space outside for lounging. They also have their own boat ramp. The Pelican is not fancy but is clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. I would definitely stay... More

If u are looking for luxury, keep searching elsewhere. You won't find it at the pelican. What you will find are cozy little rooms near the bayside for a great price. Rooms are clean enough but very small (we stayed in Pisces). We did enjoy the charcoal grills throughout the property and used them to save money on dining out.... More

There is no major chain that could be The Pelican. The staff is friendly and the rooms are very, I mean very clean. Not only do they loan you a kayak but you can check out and they will hold your stuff and will let you shower there too. I would not recommend this place to anyone because I want... More

I have stayed there several times for my many scuba diving short trips. It is great location, close to marina where all the boats are parked and many small beach front restaurants. Customer service is quite good as for such a small place, rooms are clean and serviced daily, kayak rentals is free of charge for hotel guests. Make sure... More

Excellent, charming place in great location. Very romantic spot to sit in hammock and watch the sunset. Free breakfast, fresh food, close to great restaurants and stores/ dive shops. Clean comfortable rooms with great beds. Kayaking available too.

We took a day trip a few months go to find a place that would have a dock and slips for our boat. We also wanted a place with clean rooms. Well, we just got back from our Memorial Day vacation. This place is not the Marriott or the likes but the rooms were very clean, the price is right... More
