His was my husbands first time snorkeling, Daryl and Aaron were great at making us feel super comfortable getting in the water. They both had an awesome since of humor which made for an entertaining trip and we got to go out to dry rocks and see the Christ of the Abyss statue. We can't wait to go back!

We were visiting from NY and staying 5 miles away so this was the first place we went. Beach is rocky and small so wear water shoes. Kayaks and boats can be rented pretty cheap. we went on a 2 1/2 snorkeling tour the first day and it was great. Captain and mates were friendly and informative. Reef was excellent... More

My family was only in Key Largo for the day but we stumbled across this state park which was fun for us. There is a little visitor center with a mini aquarium and two small beaches. We went swimming at far beach and it was great! We even found pieces of coral with our feet. They also offer some fun... More

I went there with my girlfriend early April and we stayed for 3 nights with a two person tent and a car. The overall quality of the campground was good, the bathrooms were very clean and all the staff were very helpful. I should also mention that the showers are free (with hot water). The campground is nice with many... More

We had an excellent trip on the 4 hour snorkeling trip. I would definitkely make advance reservations and take morning tour so you can enjoy everything else the park has to offer for the rest of the day. Jorge & Stephanie were absolutely wonderful.

Why the hype on this place? We drove in saw swarms of people sitting on top of each other worse than a scene at a waterpark wave pool and drove right out! This is the keys???? Really disgusting place. Wouldn't even get out of the car. We wanted to swim and not take one of the over priced commercialized tours... More

Good value money wise. The coral reef was beautiful to see. It's good for people who don't want to swim or snorkel. The boat was very clean, staff were professional, informative and fun. It was a nice 2 1/2 hrs out on the water. You get the boat inside a state park. There's an additional fee to enter the park.... More

wehave stayed at Pennekamp several times in the past year. Fairly hard to get a reservation but a Keys State Park with washer dryers and full hookups. The bad news, a little buggy and when designed placed the sewer hookups so your picnic table and front door are right at your neighbor's sewer hookup. This year we have been entertained... More

I have been camping here since I was a kid. I usually camp in a tent. If your in a tent heres some advice, in the summer get the site with water and electricity. Connect fans to extensions and use them in the tent because it gets hot. Bring flashlights in case you need to go to the bathroom in... More

We visited here during our trip to Key Largo. Our family enjoyed walking around and checking things out. Looks like there could be lots of fun things to do there even though we spent only a few hours exploring the .park. Really nice small aquarium with lots of things for the kids to check out. Cool gift shop. Saw a... More
