Great old Florida atmosphere, not just a cement parking lot. The staff was friendly, thorough and courteous. The common areas were clean and well maintained with a nice little beach park. Convenient access to all needs, so if you have a bike, you won't need your car.

We ended up here because another place we had booked was terrible. The price was very reasonable and we were happy to stay here for a night and take advantage of the amenities (washers/dryers, showers). The tent sites (actually, all sites) are very small and close together. However, the campground seemed to be strict with its noise rules and campers... More

My sister and I stayed here for a week in March and we absolutely loved it here! If you're into camping and are looking for a place that gives you that laid-back island vibe, then you need to stay here. The majority of the sites are occupied by RVs and permanent trailers. There are a few dedicated sites for tents,... More

The tent sites are right on top of each other. There was not to many families. It was a place more for retirees. The people were nice and helpful. The tent site I stayed at was very noisy throughout the night and smelled like sewage of some sort. It was hard to get some sleep even after a long day.... More

Not exactly camping. The tent spaces were right next to each other without vegetation seperating them and butted up right to the road. It was very loud but mostly because of things just on the other side of the fence enclosing the property (e.g. roosters, garbage trunks). Although, the grounds themselves were kept clean and it was nice to have... More

We enjoyed our stay here. The location is great (but had to ask where it was cause we didn't see the sign from the street...). Our tent site was comfortable. Our main issue with this site was the bathrooms: both bathrooms were closed for cleaning in the morning one after the other, which was really frustrating when you're trying to... More

My family and I own a lot here, I have been coming to KLK since the early 80's, love this place, it's no frills and all fun! Loved bingo nights, shuffleboard and swimming in the canals, if your lucky you might run into a family of manatees!

Had a great time over New Years Eve tent camping I grew camping in the woods and this was the first trip for my kids, so I was a little nervous. I have been to the keys a few times so I knew what the area is like. So this is not ruffing it. You are getting a nice size... More

We spent a week tent camping with our 2 kids for New Years Eve. We had a great time! Yes, most of the place consists of RVs and "trailers" (RVs converted to more permanent structures) but they are well kept and the place is clean. It's mostly snow birds but everyone we interacted with was very friendly. Maybe it was... More

They call it condos but it's nothing but a run down trailer dump. If you like old rude people, who have to curse children about playing and being children. This is the place for you. The president or he thinks he runs the dump has zero manners and rules do not apply to him or some other (Op's) meaning old... More
