This hotel is basically one step above camping. The rooms while comfortable enough for three divers, are furnished bare-bones. The kitchens contain minimal cutlery and our requests for more glasses and even sharp knives were ignored. The ceramic floors were filthy and as a matter of fact I was afraid to walk in the rooms barefoot! Buy a cheap sponge... more

Let's face it...it's a no-frills motel, with a great view and a staff focused on diving. The rooms vary. Some are better than others,..... We know this because our booking had us in 2 different rooms. The first had stairs and was small and dorm-like. The second...more spacious and motel-like. We came to learn to dive. They accommodated us above... more

Four couples with 3 college age children spent a week at Amy's Amoray Dive Resort. The staff, front office and diving support, were uniformly pleasant and helpful. Property very well maintained. Rooms were clean and cleaning staff was through and unobtrusive. more

We stopped at the C of C without reservations & this was one of their suggestions.: A small tropical "dive resort". We wanted something cheap for one night so reception gave us keys to look at. 3 rooms. We selected the stand alone behind the pool. It was very basic, clean & nice sized with a sink, small frig., micro,... more

This place is great for divers looking for modest accomodations and great service. The boat leaves from the property so there is no need to haul equipment all over town. Dive staff is friendly, professional and fun. The deck and bbq are a great features for people looking to dive, relax, meet other travelers and not be bothered with busy... more

I booked 4 nights by phone ...site unseen. Very disaappointed in the quality of the rooms and the purported "service". Room was dirty, bathroom filthy, towels changed daily and bed linens "pulled up". No change of bed linens and not other cleaning. Walls very thin...could clearly hear conversations next door. The mattress on the bed had a huge 'sink hole'... more

Asked to look at room before booking; unit was spacious and clean, decor/appointments marginal but overall looked okay. We were given an "upgrade' as the orginially quoted room had a maintenance issue. Room had a nice porch with hammock right on the water, decent view of the bay. Not too bad until the adjoining guests arrived. Big gaps under the... more

This is a nice dive resort. The rooms were clean and basic. I thought the holiday rate was a little steep but not much I could do about that. The dive staff nice and helpful. We had mostly Capt. Joe and the DM was Dan. We were able to hang our wet gear in their gear room. The boat can... more

My wife and I stayed at Amoray for six nights in May. While this is an older resort it is very clean and the staff were friendly and very helpful. We took dive trips on both boats the Amoray Diver a large catamaran which holds 40+ divers and also the Just-In Time six pack boat. We really enjoyed the smaller... more

Went to the Keys for a week of diving. This was our 1st real diving since getting certified in a cold quarry, so we were a little apprehensive. The staff was wonderful at making us welcome to the area and comfortable with the dives. They did have some engine trouble on their boat, but made sure we got out with... more
