It is a nice comfortable resort, fairly modern and with a nice view. Very nice pool, nice grounds, and a nice little beach with a great set-up of lounge chairs and hammocks. We had a spacious waterfront room and enjoyed seeing the abundance of nature from our balcony. Iguanas of all sizes and birds of every color. Combine a terrific location..with wonderful facilities and greet people and you have a perfect spot. Our water side room was beautiful and comfortable. Great Hotel! The staff was extremely nice and very professional. It's one of the only places on the island that has a sandy beach. My husband and I were upgraded to a really nice suite with an excellent view. We will definitely come back to this Marriott Beach Resort. More

the outside of this hotels looks a little run down but we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were. their grounds and pool/beach area was fantastic, the food on site was very good and available at 3 different locations. it also has an on-site dive/water activities shop (pirate island divers) and they were top notch! made it easy... Stayed here for 3 nights in May-12 whilst diving at John Pennekamp national park. The room was nice and clean, roomy with 2 good beds. The resort is really nice, situated just by the water and with a scubadiving operator onsite (although that was on the expensive side). Nice hammocks by the sea. More

Staff was nice for the most part, and the food was great. I went for the Diving School (Pirate Island Divers) and had a great time getting certified. Instructor was Adam Nussbaum, definitely recommend it. More
