This a completely one of a kind place and definitely not for everyone as you can see by the reviews. For starters have you ever stayed at a resort that you enter through a junk yard? This was our second stay and the weather was definitely better in mid March this year than in late February last year. The staff... More

Came for the sailing and the boats are great to explore the area. All you could ask for and more The cottages are wonderful and close to the water and the staff is friendly and helpful. We will be back.

March 1 to march 8, 2014 - this was our third trip to KLSC. We stayed in the Captain's Cottage - which had a beautiful water view. We absolutely love this place, but warning - it is not for everyone. The cottages are well equipped and pretty clean (don't look into the corners too close). We had a small kitchenette... More

This was our ninth time staying at the Key Lime Sailing Club (KLSC), and once again we had an excellent stay. With all the snow and cold we have had in Wisconsin this year, we really needed this trip. We sailed 6 out of the 8 days, great winds, with Cody or Connor always available to get the boat to... More

This place had been highly recommended by other travelers so we were very excited to visit. I don't have to have luxury, but this place was awful. It was run down, there was absolutely no privacy and our bathtub was in the common area of our cottage. The icing on the cake was that there was no lock on the... More

If you're looking for a laid back, rustic, quiet, safe, friendly place to stay, this is it! It's a small establishment with 8 cabins I think. Staying small helped all of us get to know each other which greatly enhanced the trip overall. Of course there are going to be people who keep to themselves, but overall we all hung... More

If you are looking for the Ritz then don't stay here. If you are looking for a quirky, fun place with a great atmosphere this is your place. We stayed in the Dolphin cabin that was just perfect for the 2 of us. Woke up each morning to a perfect day and then at night hung out at the tiki... More

Starting the New Year off with a belated review.... This was my 2nd time visiting the Florida Keys - again staying at the KLSC - this time in the Keys cottage - LOVED IT!!! The laid back atmosphere is one of the best things about this place! Our cottage was charming - slept 3 of us comfortably and there was... More

Our stay was marvelous! Everything was easy, friendly, and exceeded our expectations. Captain Sheldon is patient and thorough, and we were confident to take out boat out alone after completing our school. Cody is a gem--so helpful, smiling all the while. We got to sail, see dolphins, paddle board with manatees, and the sunset cruise was gorgeous. We hope to... More

OK, let's start with the fact that this place has been in the Florida Keys for a long time and has had the devil knocked out of it many times. I say that to point out that it may not be the fanciest place you have ever stayed. However, the staff are great and getting a sailboat to use during... More
