My husband was horrified when we pulled up to the hotel. It has a bit of a cheap motel feel to it, but the rooms are fairly nice -- with the exception of a little mildew. Although mildew is hard to avoid in tropical climates. I think you'd have to spend a whole lot more on a hotel in Key... more

We had a great time hanging out by pool and bar/restaurant next door. Everything was clean and the room are comfortable. Multiple restaurants close by. Great food at adjoining Sushi restaurant as well as great food at Snokes on same proprerty. Awesome to watch the sunset on Gulf side from beachview room. We will definitely come back, hopefully for a... more

Our first night started with a late check-in due to us traveling and I was told over the phone that I needed to just walk up to the mailbox and grab our key that they left for us. As we got in our room, our windows were all open and the air conditioning was on, didn't make sense but we... more

I traveled with my 2 kids and a friend of ours. The one bedroom unit as a king bed in the bedroom. In the living room, there's a wall bed that comes down and a pull out couch. I wouldn't recommend the pull out for an adult as far as comfort but it was fine for the kids. The wall... more

My husband and I stayed for one night during a quick getaway trip to Key Largo. We came with our 12 lb. dog and were welcomed by the staff. The room was clean and had everything we expected (basic amenities). The pool and beach were not great, but typical for Key Largo. The tiki bar next door was very convenient.... more

I stayed four days here with my 18 year old daughter. The rooms were clean, and it was nice to have a fridge and microwave on hand. The pool area was also clean and convenient. The continental breakfast really wasn't worth much; if there were more choices and healthier selections, I would be more positive about it. The hotel is... more

This hotel did not live up to my expectations. We stayed in five hotels on this trip and this was the worst by far. The so called continental breakfast was nothing but a mini muffin and cup of coffee in a plastic cup, a good job Dunkin Donuts was just across the road. The so called private beach was also... more

Thank you for your comments and I do apologize for your negative experience. To confirm, our beach is not a contained body of water and filters naturally in the environment of Florida Bay. Sometimes our shorelines here in the Keys are prone to seaweed build-up and perhaps it was that effect which caused the "smell". Regardless, we are sorry for...

Bayside Inn is a 3-story hotel located on the bay. You can sit on the property, watch the sunset, and listen to the music from the restaurant next door. The rooms have a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. The daily continental breakfast is ample and I was impressed with the selection of fresh fruit. We used the hotel for a... more

The Bayside Inn Key Largo was a wonderful surprise. Just a couple of miles down from our diveshop this property had a nice stretch of white sand beach with two jetties for boats and swimming, a couple of hammocks, swaying palm trees, a decent pool, and a great beachside bar next door at Snooks’s Restaurant. Their happy hour offered cheap... more

Right on the water. great view of sunsets. Restaurants/bars within walking distance. Friendly staff. The A/C unit could have worked better and the hot water could have worked less-just about scalded myself not used to that much "hot" at hotels. The room was clean and comfy-huge TV. Nice little beach area with a really nice pool. more
