We toured around Florida in an RV for the first time. We decided before leaving home in Scotland that we would stay here for 4nights. The price seemed very good and we thought we might be ready to get out of the RV for a few nights. We had read the reviews and knew (as guesthouse owners ourselves) that sometimes... more

Cost over $1,300 to stay for 5 nights. No laundry available on site. Had to ask for used towels to be removed and brought new for family of 4. Had to ask for anything you wanted or needed, no atttention to the guests. Went there primarily for use of sailboat for the week. Boats in sub-standard condition. Boat assigned had... more

Single mom w/2 girls ages 13 and 14 stayed June 16-25. Accommodatons were clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Stayed in he mermaid cottage, decor was not 'new' but tasefully done. Beds were Very comfortable. Paul, the owner, makes you feel like family. Sunset cruises were the best and included in the price. We met many other guests while... more

If you are looking for 4 star service or accommodations - stay away. If you are looking for a casual, comfortable place with friendly people and walking distance to lots of restaurants...stay here. The boats are stripped down, no radios, but as long as you make sure you have gas..and bring a cell phone, and KNOW how to sail they... more

Another Spring Break on Key Largo, and a repeat at Key Lime. The cottages are wonderful, spacious, airy, and clean. The beach area is adequate, with plenty of watertoys, fishing gear, and shaded or sunny seating. The sailboats are being upgraded, as usual, but safe. a breakdown in communication did mar our stay, but Paul was very apologetic, and no... more

We had read several reviews and were a little skeptical.....no need to be. We had a wonderful week its our kind of resort, no locks, no safe because there is no need for them! We got to know the guests as they arrived and departed. The kids all played on the beach they were fishing, kayaking, snorkling and swimming. We... more

We would like to thank everyone at KLSC for a great vacation! Al and Cindy (managers) are the best! We were made to feel at home in this very relaxed place. Paul (owner) treats everyone like family. The sunset and moonrise cruise on his catamaran was too fun. Capt. Joe knows how to make a sunset cruise the best! We... more

Very nice stay. KLSC has older, more rustic cottages, but everything was clean and orderly. Paul and his staff are very friendly and accommodating. The older plumbing is a challenge, but not a major issue. The view of Florida bay is wonderful, looking across to Everglades National Park. The sailboats are not new, but are serviceable. In addition to the... more

We just came back from our Honeymoon and its happens to be an Amazing, full of adventure and relaxing in a very quite atmosphere. We stayed at the Sailfish cottage and I love the place. It was advertised to be rustic keys lifestyle and we personally dont wanna stay in a 5 start hotel so I search in Google and... more

When we checked in to the Key Lime Sailing Club, the place looked a little rough, but we were willing to give it a try. After we learned that guests could not flush toilet paper in the toilets and instead had to discard used paper in a wastebasket, and when we saw bugs crawling in the kitchenette, we just could... more
