These are condominiums managed like a hotel. The room was furnished nicely, everything worked. We particularly liked the no pet policy, didn't have to worry about any barking mutts or having your beach bag pissed on. The policy of no loud radios, fishing or glass bottles on the beach is also a plus, IMO, though other reviewers thought that unreasonable.... more

Just spent 4 nights at this condo, that is operated like a hotel. We had a first floor ocean friont room. King bed, full kitchen, newly remodeled bathroom. Plenty of room.. Kitchen had everything you needed. It faces the oceanside of the keys. the beach was well groomed with plenty of lounge chairs. There were barbecue grills there for your... more

Our family stayed at at the Continental Inn for 5 nights a few weeks ago, and I still dream about being there. The room was very clean and comfortable. Having a full kitchen was great. Everything about this place was great. The grounds were beautiful. The pool was always clean and quiet..even with my 2 small children. The other quests... more

We found CI through TA and were happy with the hotel/condo. The room had 2 beds, a sitting area, dining area and small kitchen. I felt very safe at this hotel and the police patrol on a regular basis, which I liked. It is a quiet hotel and area of the keys. No beach chairs on the beach. The swimming... more

We stayed two nights at the Continental Inn and were very pleased. After driving around Marathon looking for decent accomodations for less than a zillion dollars a night, we were thrilled when the very pleasant young desk clerk at the Inn provided us with a two bedroom apartment for about $160 a night (after AAA discount). My husband and I... more

My husband and I and our 10 and 12 year old daughters stayed here for five days and were very pleased. After researching the Keys and realizing there really are no inexpensive decent hotels, we took the advice of other TA travellers and chose the Continental Inn. Beautiful location, near attractions/food/stores, very safe and the beach area is far superior... more

The Continental Inn on Key Colony is a small little hotel right on the water with it's own small beach, pool, and grill area. Our room had a full kitchen, table, and couch. From my understanding, many of the rooms have permanent residents, while others are essentially rented out to guests (like me). From a location perspective, it's right across... more

A very helpful office. They were accomodating. I was able to stay an extra night, I wish I would have stayed longer. A nice quiet place with a small beach. From this hotel Key West is less than an hour away and Bahia Honda beach is a few minutes away by car. Many other guest were returning customers of 7... more

Given that a vacation to the Keys means you either have to choose between a fleabag motel for $75 and a resort for $250+, it's nice when there's an in-between option like the Continental Inn. If I'd paid more than $150/night (I paid $144 incl. tax), I might have been disappointed, but to have a homebase that's reasonably priced and... more
