We stayed here a few days in October. We booked directly through the property and paid only $120 (plus $75 cleaning fee) for an oceanfront, one bedroom condo. Although the view was fantastic and the property itself is in good condition, the condo we were given in the A building was in need of a good, thorough cleaning. After looking... more

We stayed at the Amelia Island Surf and Racquet Club in late July. The hotel was great. Right on the beach and very nice. There were 12 of us from the family and we had a total of three rooms. Each room was decorated differently, but all done very nice. Our room was a two bedroom suite. The room had... more

We visited Amelia island for the first time and spent a week at the Surf and Raquet. The beaches are beautiful, and we found the island to be wonderfully uncrowded compared to other east coast areas we have visited. This property is in a good location, has 2 nice pools, and is a reasonable price. We will definitely go back.... more

We stayed there some during week of 4th July this year and it was wonderful and fireworks show was great. My children enjoyed the pool, ocean, and beach tremendously and we stayed in A120 which is a wonderful well decorated l bedroom with queen sleeper sofa condo on the 4th floor in A Building as there are 3 buildings and... more

The grounds are very nice, trees, parking, pool and of course the incredible beach. Inside the 2-bedroom it felt crampted generally tired. Views to the ocean are not what I expected. This is definitely an older property. Great location next to the Ritz Carlton. more

My husband and I recently stayed at the Surf & Racquet Club with our 2 year old daughter. We rented the condo directly from the owner Brenda Jackson from this website http://www.vacationrentals.com/. Brenda was wonderful to deal with and the condo was exactly as described. Once I booked she sent a wonderful list of restaurants and was always available with... more

We went for a relaxing vacation and that is exactly what we got. The room was great! Beautiful view of the ocean and it was decorated so beachy. Nice to have the washer and dryer in the unit as well. People were very nice and helpful. We spent hours on the beach searching for shark teeth and I found lots.... more

Husband and I thoroughly enjoyed Unit A106: quiet, convenient, good layout. Enjoyed pool. Made reservations with owner, Cynthia Herrin, who supplied very simple directions to get into unit. more

We visited in Sept 06, after Labor Day. Not at all crowded, very comfortable condo and GREAT views. You do have to walk around from the front of the complex to get to the beach or pool, unless you are on the ground floor. You also have a view of either south end or north end of the island, not... more

We stay at Amelia Surf and Racquet over the Fourth of July. This is our third summer. Very relaxing, if you like to swim at pool and hang out on beach. Ft. Clinch State Park is not far away if you like a little history with your vacation. The resort is packed on the Fourth but the next day the... more
