My husband and I love to stay at Bed and Breakfasts when traveling as much as possible and our standards are not low. We just came back from a weekend stay at the Fairbanks House at Amelia Island, FL. We were very impressed with the customer service and the beautiful Fairbanks House. The location is great and a very convenient... More

My wife and I "eloped" to the Fairbanks House and could not have enjoyed our getaway more. The Fairbanks feels more like a home than a B & B. The house and grounds are awesome and the hosts, Bill and Theresa, are even better. Our wedding was planned to the finest detail and executed flawlessly. All we had to do... More

I cannot express how much my husband and I enjoyed 4 nights in the Captains room at the Fairbanks House in Amelia Island. We were B&B "rookies" and this house and experience most certainly set our standards high. Upon arrival we were greeted by Theresa who is such a lovely person and with a bubbly personality! After lunch, a few... More

We had a wonderful visit to Amelia Island, thanks to the excellent hospitality of our amiable hosts and their outstanding inn. The Fairbanks House is one of the oldest on this historic island, painstakingly and beautifully restored. Fairbanks House shows great attention to detail, from breakfast to evening reception to bedtime cookies, ending with a soak in a clawfooted tub.... More

My husband and I just got home from 4 nights at the Fairbanks House. I can't say enough fantastic things about this experience. We have never stayed at a B& B before & we are totally hooked! Theresa and Bill are the absolute sweetest hosts! They helped us with dinner plans each night along with an excursion recommendations. The breakfast... More

This is the third time I stay at Fairbanks House for Shrimp Fest. This time, it was in the old "servants quarters"... boy would I have liked to have been a servant! The place is kept up immaculately (if there is such a word). Every detail is catered to. The inkeepers, Theresa and Bill are super friendly and accommodating. Fantastic... More

Our stay at the Fairbanks House was our first B&B experience, and we were not disappointed! The Tapestry Room was beautiful and comfortable, the breakfast was gourmet-quality and delicious, and the service was impeccable. The house is gorgeous!! Bill and Theresa were awesome hosts, and it is obvious they love what they do. They gave us great tips and recommendations... More

Stayed at the Fairbanks House for a Girls Just Wanna Have Fun getaway. We were all B&B novices. We arrived at Social Hour and we were greeted with a glass of wine and snacks. We were then shown to our accommodations - " The Servants Cottage. It was charming! Plenty big for the three of us. We were welcomed with... More

Stayed in this charming 1885 residence. Bill and Theresa (sp?) were great host and hostess, always trying to please their guests. My wife and I really enjoyed the typical eclectic B&B customers during the House's Social Hour at 5PM every evening, with wine and snacks. Breakfasts were all delicious and we got excellent help, including the House's own collections of... More

We just finished a great visit to the Fairbanks House. Theresa, Bill and crew were amazing! Exceeded our expectations over and over! Plus Fernandina is a great spot to get away and have some great food and see some interesting sites. We used the bikes to cruise down to the beach and then on over to Fort Clinch. We did... More
