We stayed at The Addison to celebrate our 13th Anniversary. We had a wonderful time. The room was beautiful...the A/C FREEZING (per our settings), the grounds outstanding, the location ideal, and the owners cordial, accomodating, and outgoing. We took advantage of the bikes, fresh homeade breakfast, and happy hour. We also enjoyed how close it was to everything. We parked... more

There is a very good reason why The Addison is at the top of the list for B&Bs to stay at when visiting Amelia Island. It is simply OUTSTANDING! My husband and I have stayed at The Addison on two separate occasions, and both visits were priceless! The breakfasts are delicious and served on a charming porch overlooking the courtyard.... more

Great room, great location, great food, and great hosts. Loved all of it. The unique fountain courtyard and surrounding covered porches made us feel like we were in a grand southern mansion. Rooms were extremely clean and well appointed. Bob and Shannon have thought of everything. We definitely will return. more

My wife and I spent our anniversary at the Addison. The owners/operators are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding. The facilities are very nice and located in a great place (one block off of Centre Street). The service was very good throughout our stay. My only complaint is the price. The room was very small with no balcony... more

We had a most enjoyable stay at the Addison on Amelia Island. The room was immaculate, roomy and full of nice little homey touches. Even the sheets and towels were special. The breakfasts were delicious and were so tastefully presented - just like the pictures you see in Southern :Living Magazine. Happy hour from 5 to 6 P.M. every afternoon... more

The owners and staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was ample and delicious, the beds incredibly comfortable, the rooms immaculate. Lots of little touches to make your stay more pleasant. I can't think of a thing that needed to be improved. Not really within walking distance to the beach but close to downtown where there are many interesting... more

Bob and Shannon are the most gracious and warm hosts that we have encountered ever! They are wonderful and made our honeymoon something truly special! The breakfasts were to die for, any restaurant on the island would be hard pressed to keep up! The happy hours were great as well, providing much laughter and pleasant company. The room was spacious... more

If you are looking for somewhere to make a special memory...look no further! The hosts of this beautiful inn and of course the accroutamants are sure to please. Both the "bed" and "breakfast" were outstanding! Be sure to make your dinner reservations there as they serve up a fine meal then as well! more

My husband and I were thrilled with the Addison. We enjoyed the amazing sheets, comfortable rooms and overall atmosphere. We never missed a happy hour as we enjoyed the social interaction with the other guests and innkeepers. The innkeepers were great hosts making us feel right at home. Every morning the breakfasts were different and always delicious. We look forward... more
