If you're looking for fancy accommodations, stay at a fancy chain hotel. If you're looking for a beautiful historic hotel with character, stay here. Our room was small but nicely furnished. The bed was very comfortable and there was a refrigerator in the room. There was not a full length mirror in the room. Do not stay in room 108... More

rooms are average size. Beds are not comfortable. Couch had excessive stains. One mirror, tiny. Very few outleta. Nowhere to get yourself ready to go out. now, the noise between 11 pm and 130 am is where it gets fun. Don't expect to sleep. So just stay up and drink at the bar. The yelling, screaming in the hallway at... More

We attended a recent wedding at Casa Marina and planned to stay at the hotel for three nights. After the first night we decamped to a nearby Mariott because our rooms at Casa Marina smelled strongly of mold and mildew, the pull out sofas were broken in both rooms and the furniture was so stained we put towels down to... Old, frayed pillows, dusty AC vents, broken fold out sofa, old TV sets...not historically old...very worn-out old. Two packs of coffee, no cream or sugar, stains on curtains and chair upholstery. Very disappointed in the quality of the rooms. Extremely difficult to find parking. Day beach goers use all available spots. Have to park in front of hotel to lug... More

Casa Marina is long on charm and atmosphere, an ideal place for a wedding reception. The Mission-style architecture and beachfront location couldn't be prettier. The staff is exceptionally well-trained and functions like a well-oiled machine. They understand what it takes to stage a successful event. Be forewarned, however, that Casa Marina is a lively spot and you might not want... More

This is my second time staying here and I love it! Don't expect a concierge experience. If you want peace and quiet don't stay here. If you want history, fun and a unique experience this is the place! The price is right but the overall feel of this hotel is just plain cool! I totally feel like life is made... More

Did not stay in the hotel, but had heard about their Penthouse Lounge for cocktails and tapas. Lovely oceanfront setting outdoors overlooking the beach. We happened to go at Happy Hour (4-7pm) when the "List" martinis are $5. Very interesting choices! I had the "Flirtini" which was among the best cocktails I've ever had...and not just in the martini category.... More

Went for a family wedding. The wedding was beautiful the staff helpful and attentive (though they wouldn't let a child dance without shoes). The location is wonderful, the beach is steps away. The food was good (both for reception and Sunday brunch) with varied choices from gourmet to southern comfort food. However, no one could sleep either night we stayed... More

This historic hotel is absolutely beautiful inside & out. The rooms are very antique and lovely. The outside is immaculate! The backside of the hotel has this gorgeous Italian looking area with tables and lights hanging up above you. the staff is incredible!! Also the breakfast is great!! I will definitely stay here for years to come!

Casa Marina Hotel on Jacksonville Beach is an elegant old lady still living on and living the beach. Jean Harlow and Al Capone. Hollywood greats such as... More
