We travel and often stay at very nice hotels. We were not staying here on this trip but have in the past. The rooms are great and staff is outstanding. This visit we finally timed it right to have Sunday Brunch. It was the BEST have ever eaten at! We have eaten at the Cast Iron Ft. Worth and the... More

Casa Marina is a hotel I return to again and again. It's a charming boutique hotel with lots of history having first opened in 1925. It is clean and comfortable with a great restaurant and rooftop lounge. There is a charming courtyard and many rooms have views of the Atlantic. Perfect for staying near the beach and listening to the... More

Great view!!!! Martini's were awesome, especially at 1/2 price happy hour, wait staff were young, (compared to us :) ) gorgeous and awesome, great bunch, we really enjoyed them. Also had a gentleman playing music, reminded me somewhat of a Jason Mraz type, we really enjoyed him. We liked the place so much we stopped by every night we were... More

We went for Sunday brunch and stayed until Tuesday. We love the old Jacksonville look and feel of this hotel. We were given a choice of three rooms and chose the one with a sitting room and three ocean views. The hotel needs some minor updates to TVs and we were underneath the bar, but we opened the windows and... More

Quaint property right on the beach. Very friendly staff. Small rooms if you're traveling with family. Great if just a couple. Loved the rooftop bar for cocktails and tapas. Beach great. Rented chairs and umbrella from guy on beach. Pricey but worth it. Also rented surf board. Walked or took $5 cab to fantastic local restaurants. Had free breakfast everyday... More

I stayed at the Casa Marina august 16-17 (one night stay, ocean view room). Upon check in, I arrived at 6pm. I walked to front desk and the girl greeted me (younger blonde girl) and then her phone rang and left me standing there for 10 minutes so she could book the person calling in on the phone. I find... My husband and I stayed here for our 35th anniversary. The location is fabulous. However there is no pool. The outside and grounds could use some TLC. The restaurant's kitchen door faces the main entrance and was always open and unkept. The area around the side and back, facing the ocean, was littered with tables broken chairs and umbrellas. The... I read all the previous reviews about this historic hotel, and the discussion about the noise certainly was true. I came prepared and asked for a quiet room and the hotel delivered. Room 208 is on the second floor in the opposite corner from wedding festivities, dining room and rooftop bar (with DJ that plays from 10 pm to closing).... More

If you're looking for fancy accommodations, stay at a fancy chain hotel. If you're looking for a beautiful historic hotel with character, stay here. Our room was small but nicely furnished. The bed was very comfortable and there was a refrigerator in the room. There was not a full length mirror in the room. Do not stay in room 108... More

rooms are average size. Beds are not comfortable. Couch had excessive stains. One mirror, tiny. Very few outleta. Nowhere to get yourself ready to go out. now, the noise between 11 pm and 130 am is where it gets fun. Don't expect to sleep. So just stay up and drink at the bar. The yelling, screaming in the hallway at... More
