The hotel lobby was nice and the room size (Junior Suite) was great. For the most part the hotel staff was nice. There was one night manager who always seemed like I was bothering him the couple of times I had to interact with him. The room cleaning left much to be desired. On the Saturday I stayed I left... more

We visited Jacksonville Beach to attend a family wedding. We found the Fairfield Inn to be comfortable with a good breakfast each morning. Across the street is the Marriott Courtyard (on the beach). As a Fairfield Inn guest we were able to use the ammenities at the Courtyard. There is plenty of parking and has easy access to the beach.... more

My husband and I stayed four nights and enjoyed the great location to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The room was great and very peaceful, considering how busy the beach traffic can be, you felt like you were away from it all. We will stay again next time we are in town, and the short walk over to the beach... more

My husband and I , along with our two teenage sons, stayed at the Fairfield Inn for 4 days at the end of March. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The hotel is quiet. It is a short walk to the beach, which is very nice--reminded me of Daytona beach with the large area of packed sand leading to... more

We stayed for 2 nights at the Fairfield Inn for a 'beach break' on our way to Orlando from Savannah, Georgia. This hotel is at the north end of the beach, it is very quiet and peaceful. It is just across the road from the beach. We strolled along the beach of an evening like many other couples did but... more

A friend and I were in town for a visit to the Mayo Clinic while staying at this hotel. The rooms were nice enough, the staff was very cordial, knowledgable, and friendly, offering recommendations, directions, and coupons to pretty much all of the restaurants and attractions every time that we went out for anything. There were also alot of delivery... more

The only bad thing about our stay here is that we could only stay one night! We stopped here on our way back from Orlando, my husband had a business meeting in Jacksonville, so my three kids and I spent the day on the beach. The hotel was lovely, nice view, the pool was just OK, but the Courtyard's pool... more

The Fairfield was great. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The service was great. You have two pools to choose from because you can also use the Courtyard's pool. The beach is great. The sand was not white, but it was soft. When the tide goes out, it leaves shallow tidal pools, great for small kids. We absolutely loved it!... more

This hotel has an excellent location, only a half a block to the beach. The Courtyard hotel is across the street on the beach and they let you use their facilities. The rooms are very spacious, some of them have a pull out coach for extra sleeping accomodations. Flat screen tvs, very very clean. Highly recommended. I mostly stay at... more

My wife and sons travelled with me for an appointment I had at the Mayo Clinic about 5 miles away. We had just finished a Disney weekend and had not booked a room - figured we'd get a place near the clinic when we got there. Well, there's NOTHING near the clinic! We drove until we found some hotels, which... more
